We got a refund.

Extremely bad smell like something had died inside the property and it was so bad I had to sleep with a towel over my head, huge dead rat in carport when we arrived, rubbish and old wooden pallets in back yard, carport is very low and has rusty holes everywhere, rats running around in ceiling/walls, paint flaking off in bathtub, shower curtain rail about to fall off, overall not very clean, lighting was poor, located on main road so was very noisy in front bedrooms. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 as we couldn’t stand the dead smell any longer. We contacted the owners about the issue and they agreed to refund our money, so we stayed elsewhere for the last night.
