We arrived at the Eurobuilding, and were checked in quickly, went to the room and it was a very nice room, but it was too small for us, we are used to spacious suite type rooms. Well i went down to the reception and spoke with them and Expedia, and they immediately gave us a bigger room with a very nice view. I was very pleased and impressed, i am definitely staying there again.

Good Area to stay in Caracas.

We have stayed several times. The frustration is not the hotel but the government regulations which do not allow paying for services in dollars or exchanging dollars for local currency.
This is not normal in all the countries I have visited. The hotel is not geared up to handling internaitonal tourists anymore. When I first used this hotel over 20 years ago It was just like any world class international hotel.

Hotel is nice but be careful of the charges. They will give you free room upgrades but when you get the bill it is trple the charge. Also be careful of ordering anything. They don't give an itemized bill, only a receipt that has the total and a place for a tip. At the end of the stay you get a bill for an additional 10% tip. Also I was charged for breakfast when I was told it was free. Even the restaurant bill had no charge on it. Be careful!!!!!!

For a hotel that does not have a famous brand like Hilton or radisson- it was excellent. The pools and views are great, it's located in the business district of Caracas, and there are always heaps and heaps of staff around.

We have stayed at this hotel before. Disappointed in lack on English by the staff. When I first used the hotel 17 years ago English was spoken well. The hotel is suffering from the current government which does not encourage general friendliness to visitors from overseas. It has a great location and the pool is large. Overall very safe which security is a must if visiting this country, so full marks for security. Was much better hotel than another I stayed in the same city. One cannot expect normal international standards unfortunately in Venezuela. Full marks for Breakfast.

There were cockroaches in the room !!! (dirty dishes of the roomservice in the corridors)
And lots of noise of party downstairs almost every night. And no sound isolation.
