Check in process is really slow mainly de to poor trained clerks.
Check out at lobby bar is as slow as at counter's
Aside of these situations hotel is moderno and well located. Rooms are clean and confortable.

Restaurant has a good buffet style Breakfast. Service at the restaurant is very good but a little slow.

Very good hotel and extremely well placed for visiting local clients. Excellent service, the room service food was decent. The hotel decor seemed old but the rooms themselves were excellent

Room is on the noisy side as you can hear clearly via connecting door.

Very good overall. My only complaint is the music in the lobby and terrace bar, it was extremely loud. It was impossible to make a phone call while seating in the lobby and very hard to have a conversation over cocktails at the bar that otherwise was very nice.

Absolutely the best hotel in Caracas right now. Best location and new facilities. There are not five stars hotels in Caracas but the Renaissance is the closets it gets to a top rated hotel. Very good restaurants in the vicinity but try not to walk at night since is a dangerous city. Take a taxi from the hotel. Hotel restaurant is O.K. for breakfast but there are better options close by for lunch and dinner. Helpful staff but Venezuelans still need training in customer service when compared to other countries like Mexico. I travel often to Caracas and have tried all the hotels there but The Renaissance is definitely the best overall bet.

Move from Pestana to this one and definetly is in better condition.
Check in and check out was fast (pestana it took 45 min)
