Absolutely nothing good about this place

The entire flat is filthy; caked in grease, filth and a lot of mould which has clearly been there for some time. Most surfaces are dirty with food particles even smeared on the living area walls. All rooms are very small; don’t be fooled by the photos with the second bedroom practically unusable with the electric wall heater encroaching into sleeping space which is already at a premium. This set up surely cannot be safe! The bunk beds are strictly for small children and are not large or strong enough for an adult with the lower bunk practically on the floor. All mattresses and fittings are cheap and nasty. The TV never worked properly, nor did the internet which is patchy at best. The light bulbs in the bedside lamps have been removed; there is no welcome pack or manual showing how to use any of the appliances and there is no storage space at all not even a coat hanger. Soundproofing is non existent and the noise from neighbouring flats is unbearable with music and people shouting and banging throughout the night. If you want a good night’s sleep, believe me, forget it! The flat actually shakes when people are moving around. The bathroom is so small that it is impossible to sit on the toilet, the bowl of which was unclean and stained. The shower tray is cracked and the cubicle is absolutely tiny with poor water pressure and the temperature is lukewarm…at best! Again mould was much in evidence and the room smelt musty - not good for health! The windows in the living area do not stay open and there are NO blinds or window coverings of any description in either of the bedrooms! The owner did not answer any of our messages and nor did they pick up any of our calls! We had to beg for the arrival instructions and finally got a text 2 hours before arriving with basic instructions. The car park is shabby and certainly not secure as per the owner’s assertions. It felt unsafe.
