attic bedroom is very hot in summer, but the rest of the apartment is nice and cool even in a heat wave

The location was great for experiencing Arles, and the layout, furnishings, and cleanliness of the apartment were very nice. If the weather were better (see below), I’d gladly stay there again.

The only complaint was that the unit was not set up to handle the 2022 heat wave. The main floor was nicely air conditioned and the downstairs was comfortable, but the upstairs bedroom was about 38 (100F) degrees at bedtime and never cooled below about 30 (86F) degrees. It was basically unusable.

Plenty of space In a lovely house. Convenient to walk into Arles. Well stocked kitchen. No aircon but enough fans to keep cool. People with mobility issues may find the stairs to the top bedroom and terrace a little steep. Second time in Arles and if we visit again will stay here again.

Love Quartier de la Roquette!!! Very cute place, very quaint and charming. It is simple and charming.

Could use more towels at the house.

Kitchen well equipped and wellstocked - little extras like butter, cream, salt and oil were highly appreciated. Agathe was very accommodating and helpful, especially when one of our luggages got jammed and she was able to get a locksmith to attend to it at short notice.

The bedroom on ground floor could do with a little privacy by providing a screen or curtain round the bathtub. The bedroom on the top floor could do with some extra hangars or shelves for clothes. The steps leading up to it could be made easier to climb by having broader steps or a railing at the side. Similarly stairs to first floor could also be improved with a railing by the side.
