Very small room, no kettle, no hair dryer, no nothing. We arrived around 6pm and the main entrance was locked, no one was there and only 2 phone numbers left on the window, had to call to find out how to get in, luckily one of the friends got a sim with free international calls. No lift, had to carry our heavy bags to 2nd floor.

Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is easy to reach, just nearby the train station and bus station. The view from the room is magnificent.

The isolation of the noise was not so good, I can hear people were chating downstairs. Probably because I stay in the room just upstairs of the restaurant. Breakfast was quite average.

Very kind staff (actually the owner), cosy and modern rooms and high class restaurant with an astonishing menu served with even higher quality and taste

Actually everything was perfect! The only thing is maybe parking possibility where we just had the last and very tight spot. However, I have to admit that I didn’t ask for other parking spots except those I saw in the first place.

Friendly staff, beautiful place, and very clean hotel.

Hotel National is a very cozy hotel managed by a family of very nice people who take care of all little details. We spent one night in the Deluxe Junior Suite at the second floor and the room was very big and nicely furnished, a successful mix of tradition and modern style. The bed was so big and comfortable that made it hard to go out in the morning. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant which is a nice combination of swiss and thai meals. I would surely recommend the Hotel National to anyone who want to spend sometime in a little nice village and explore the region with all its amazing hiking trails.

A quick walk from the train station, a delightful room with a balcony with truly inviting views of the mountains. The Thai restaurant in the hotel offered lovely meals - we ate there all three nights!

The hotel is warm, quiet and cozy. Frutigen is a small town, there are barely no tourists and is close to lot of the highlight places of the region. Loved the stay there, we also went to the restaurant and was a really nice experience. They have two Tesla destination chargers, although the Tesla website only lists one as of today.

Depending on the hour it can be tricky to park right on the electric charger spot because some people don’t give a thing about it. I just had this problem once and managed to move the car after a while, but I’m pretty sure the staff will help you out if you have any issue with this.

The room was small, but the view was amazing. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and the staff was friendly.

The pillows and mattress were uncomfortable

The hotel is easy to find, they have a restaurant and bakery inside the hotel, which is nice during Easter holiday when everything else was closed.

The price is a bit too high for the facilities offered. Many things seems old.
