Breakfast

We lived in a two-room apartment, the rooms were nice, the floor was dirty, black hair and dust, apparently you need to vacuum first, then wash the floor. The wolf's shower barely flows, it's difficult to wash. There are no slippers and bathrobes. There is a Parking lot, the breakfasts are good, it's a long way to the sea, about 300 meters, the water is warm, but the wind and sand are flying.

Most of the staff were very good, But the receptionist who greeted us when we arrived was not friendly or helpful and needs more traing on how to be customer friendly. She spoke to me and asked me to wait without a greeting and without eye contact while looking at her computer.

It was a very noisy hotel and our sleep was disturbed each night by noise from the bar area and customers returning very loudly to their rooms.

Staff was very friendly and nice! :) Very good breakfast. Very good room and pool facilities.

Dinner was ok

We specially appreciated to stay in a bedroom with a couple bed and close to the elevator as we had asked before thé trip.

I didn't like the food.

good facilities, not too far from city center. Although it is a large hotel, breakfast is well organised, with several options.

The food was generally ok, and the room was nice. The staff, especially the receptionist were very pleasant.

The location and the Island were very disappointing. Probably came at the wrong time of the year to see it at its best.

Nice, but many moskitos during the night

We only had one night in the hotel at the beginning of the week before they closed for the winter at the end of October. We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was sizeable, and we had a very nice view over the swimming pools, the beach and the little fishing boats. Breakfast was excellent and it was very good value at 10 Euros. We were the only people at breakfast for our 45 minutes there. We used the sauna – 5 Euros per person and that was a nice treat. All the staff that we met were very nice and very professional

We were not too impressed with Isla Cristina. Perhaps it was just because it was a Monday but most of the bars, cafes and restaurants were shut. In Portugal where we live, they would have been relatively busy.

The breakfast was amazing, as were the drinks at the bar. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room had a great view and the most comfortable bed! I liked that there were lots of different channels in different languages on the TV.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Eco friendliness in soaps. But sprawling property is not exactly eco friendly.

We thought breakfast was included in the rate but had to pay 26 euros more (because we have young kids who wake up hungry). The breakfast was not worth it. Poor selection, unhealthy and terrible coffee.

Friendly helpful staff at check in. Good size rooms, very comfortable bed. Clean and tidy.

Staff was generically friendly and the animation team put a lot of effort to make everyone happy.

Beautiful hotel, great food with different themes every day, very friendly staff, and huge family apartments with big comfortable beds, two bathrooms and super nice views.

Loud outdoor entertainment every night outside made it impossible to sleep until late. That's ok when you love the Spanish way of life, just putting it here in case your family has a different rhythm. The coffee machines in the morning were incredibly slow which causes long queues at peak time.

After having stayed in another utterly lovely and relaxing Barcelo in Aracena, this feels like staying with the horrible step sister. It is 1/3 more expensive but -parking is not free -the expensive carpark is so tight that an even a 27 turn won’t get you into your parking space -you have to pay extra for using the room safe 😳 -you have to pay a deposit for your pool towel -there are never enough sun loungers available -you hear the flushing of the toilet from the room above -the bedside light didn’t work -the fridge didn’t work -the shower flooded the bathroom floor -the children’s entertainment is loud and deeply annoying -going for breakfast feels like joining the punters in a refectory However, the hotel photographs well and the toiletries smell nice. 😀 Definitely avoid if you don’t have children or if you are after a relaxing time where the service is being effortlessly done in the background. Stay at the Barcelo Aracena instead…

We went for the all inclusive option. Really good value as along with breakfast, lunch and evening meals snack during the day were available, along with a very good selection of drinks. Room size was good we overlooked the pool. Entertainment/activities put on by the staff was very good. Food in the restaurant was of a good standard with a wide selection of food. Staff all very friendly and polite.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel as such just a bit too noisy for us as a lot of children running around and no adult only areas, great for families though. Location isn't great as there is very little to do around the hotel. Parking is pretty much on the street unless you are lucky enough to get a space in the hotel.

Staff are absolutely excellent, nothing was a problem and they were very helpful. I had a problem with our booking and they corrected this, even though it was not their fault. There are activities all day, and shows at night. Food was very good, with a different theme every evening for dinner.

For the cost of the stay, you should not really have to pay to rent a safe, this should be included. Parking in the hotel is expensive, but there is lots of free parking nearby (and the reception staff will explain where to park).

Apartment room was a good size, fridge had a freezer section so good for freezing a water bottle. Nice evening activities for the kids. The nearby beach is amazing. Breakfast and evening Buffett dinner was ok, a decent selection and evening menu changed each day. Was disappointed with the hotel on arrival but left feeling happy. If you have kids between 5 and 15 this hotel will keep them happy. They evening activities for the kids are fun. Mercadona is next door to the hotel so don’t worry about food or drinks.

A bit pricy for the room and food, evening dinner didn’t include any drinks. Sun beds around the pool were blocked by people putting down sun towels. They really should clear unused sun beds after 30 minutes like they claim too. They use an app for pricing of food and drinks instead of a menu. Didn’t work well in English, gave up and just ordered a beer.
