The two sisters who manage the hotel are very kind and take care of their guests. Rooms are cleaned everyday carefully. WiFi is working very well

Great location, 5 minute walk to main beach / port area of Pollonia where the bus stop, market and all restaurants are located. The owners and staff did everything to make sure our stay was the most pleasant and we had everything we needed. The Most Amazing sunset on the island is right at the corner of the street (at the tip in front of Salt Suites). Would definitely recommend and return if ever we are back in Pollonia!

Katerina was extremely helpful during our stay, she even waited until midnight to hand over the keys. The room was comfortable and well equipped. It only takes a 5 minutes walk to get to the city centre. We highly recommend the place. Thank you so much!

The place has everything one needs, the rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfy. Plus the property is located to one of the best sunset spots in Apollonia. Hostess was super friendly and helpful. Thank you again.

The lay-out of the room was exceptional: it felt spacious in spite of having a kitchen corner (don't take room 1 = without kitchen) sufficient to prepare a meal, a good bathroom, fridge and comfortable beds. Instead of wardrobes there is attractive handbuild open shelving, the colour scheme is white and grey (luckily not bright blue)The owner and helper are very kind and explained 4x how to handle the hotel's WiFi.

The area is not inspiring: buildings are a repetition of the concept "Greek rural house" recently built -there is still construction going on but it starts late and most building seems to have been abandonded There is little traffic.

Decent sized room, spotlessly clean and maintained every day. Very thoughtful coffee, tea and basic toast and jam in the kitchenette were replenished daily. Good area a short walk away from lots of amenities

The shower might be a bit small for some people, it was not a big deal for us.

Lovely room tastefully arranged and equipped (coffee machine, toaster, etc). The terrace is perfect for breakfast. Well located near Pollonia’s beach and restaurants. Quiet neighbourhood. The room is cleaned every day (best cleaning ever !). The host is both available and discrete. I definitely recommend to stay at Captain Starvos

Large room in modern property comprising double bed, en-suite, compact kitchen area and balcony with views to the north and east over the sea and the hills of Kimolos. Property about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre of Pollonia. Signposted once heading out of the village in the right direction. Room has TV (in Greek) and a small safe, the balcony has a drying rack. The kitchen area included a fridge, stainless sink, kettle, coffee and sandwich makers, a 2 ring induction hob with extractor above. It is complete with pans, crockery and cutlery. Some extras such as tea .coffee, butter and jam were included. Host was very helpful in both previous communications and once there. Her English was good.

The fridge. Full sized fridge in a cupboard under the cooker was failing to keep things cool. The fridge was working all the time and the cupboard was hot because of lack of ventilation. Was not fixed in the two nights I was there. The surrounding area consisted of other rooms and small hotels but fairly well spaced apart. No other amenities nearby (may have been one taverna). Required the walk into village for anything. The view (from an upstairs room) was reasonable but limited by these properties. A downstairs room may have little or no view.

Very easy contact with the hotel, simple but clean and comfortable rooms, all you need for a relaxed time. Additionally, the room service left juice, a small but very nice gesture.
