Leaving after my stay.

The staff were not friendly or informative despite the place being quiet. Dinner was late and much of the buffet was not hot enough. Despite being a short distance from the airport an early morning taxi was 1000 CVE so no advantage over staying in town. The place needs to be taken in hand and shaken up.

Friendly personnel, nice location, uncomplicated check-in and check-out, nice facilities (pool...), reliable airport transfer.

WIFI in my room was very weak.

Location is nice and away from the busy areas, that's what we opted for. To be able to go and explore or not have the temptation to be on the move the entire time and just go for a swim.

The food was bad, breakfast was bad. Both were always late but still finished In a "lights on, go home" style. Staff had a permanent air of I don't care. The rooms were very outdated and sanitation/toilet were just not okay, 10 times flushing while standing next to the toilet to get rid of the digestive response from what passed as food is just absurdity. It's apparently a 4 star resort but it didn't feel like this at all. Over priced and not worth the money we spend. We're no luxury creatures but this was unacceptable even by our standards.

We loved the outside installations.

I've changed messages with the staff concerning the transfer from the airport to the hotel, and they assured me that we would have the transfer; upon our arrival at the airport, no one was there for us; after an hour waiting, and after I've asked for an airport staff to call the hotel, someone from the hotel told us to crab a taxi and they paid the trip. We've reserved a Room "superior" with sea view, and in the picture of the booking reserve the room appeared awesome, upon our arrival they gave us an old room (very old), with only one electrical outlet working and a poor view; after a long discussion they upgrade us to a big villa (Also very hold), because the rooms we had reserved didn't had warm water for the baths. With the transfer and room issues, we've lost half of the first day. I've rented a car for the second day, and at the scheduled hour, they told me that there was a problem with the car, and we've spent 27€ with taxis in order to go to the city (Mindelo) and return to the hotel (São Pedro); the car rental was 35€ for 24 hours (we've planned to visit all the island in the second day, once again ruined plans); On the third Day Still the car wasn't ready at the scheduled hour; the guy responsible for the rental cars had to change a battery from one car to another in order to have one of them working; Despite me complaining about yet another delay, and about the car being dirty and unsuitable for renting, there was no attitude of regret or apology on the part of the person responsible for renting the cars, even in the end he threw the key at over the reception desk in a haughty attitude. Breakfasts are poor and the same every day. They have homemade cake I don't know what, homemade pie I don't know what, canned fruit, and only on the first three days we had fresh papaya. They have pancakes, cane honey and little else.

outdated; rooms didn’t have anywhere to plug in electronics; beds were two put together, uncomfortable in the middle. not really worth staying there unless weather warm and can enjoy pools since far from city center.

Nice staff. Close to the beach. Nice pools.

Poor maintenance. Uncomfortable beds. No washing up liquid. Kitchen old and tattered.

That’s the only hotel with a pool in the area unfortunately. Avoid to go if you have the choice.

Everything’s old and broken. Shuttered glass present by the pool by the showers. Many tiles missing in the pool floor that hurt while walking in. Two stray dogs were walking around the property. the door layer was detached and broken and I got cut on my arm. found several ants in my bed. the breakfast had poor choices and not healthy at all. no vegetarian options. complained to the reception but they didn’t just care at all. Said they were sending a team to check and no one appeared in the room. it just feels abandoned … not returning. avoid avoid …. the worst hotel and service I have ever had and I visited 97 counties so far …

THIS A TERRIBLE PLACE. HAVING FOUR STARS IT'S A JOKE. THIS PLACE HAS BEEN EXPLOITED BY A PORTUGUESE GREEDY.

The location, the facilities such as swimming pools, hammock in the room balcony.

Lack of information and training of staff members. Lack of options for breakfast.

Great value for money. The pool area was lovely and there is a tennis court. Good food options for lunch. Very close to airport so very handy for flight delays etc. We were checking out before breakfast and they brought it to our room the night before so we could bring it with us.

Everything is a little out dated. Wifi didn’t reach our room. Only buffet available for dinner, we were unable to order from the daily menu.

Location and Sao Pedro Beach.

It is with some regret that I´ll give my feedback since we love Cabo Verde so much but almost everything related to the hotel is bad. Employees with no training in customer care, receiving a smile is rare, to have information about the hotel and there services you have to ask instead of being given right away by the hotel and there employee as soon as you arrive. Hotel very old with maintenance strictly to the miminum. If you get rare rainny days like we did prepare yourself to have flood in your rooms or the restaurante. Rooms with no black outs curtains so prepare to wake up early. Key asset of the hotel are there swimming pools but the all falling apart and dirty. They don t look like they are cleanned everyday and if they are cleanned its always very late in the morning when it should be in my opinion the first thing to clean and should be immaculate so that tourist and there families can enjoy it. Breakfast very poor, during 9 days of our stay we had always the same thing, no variations what so ever, always missing something. Doors of the hotel close around 22h00, no one in reception till morning and to get the security to open you the Hotel door is sometime hard if you dont have a phone with you. Taxi booked by the hotel to go to the airport, price annouce of 10 € (for not even 5 minutes of travel) and the taxi charge you 15€ at the airport arrival we the excuse that early morning travels are more expensive. it s a bad immage both for the hotel and the taxi drivers, feels like we are beeing robbed. I Feel that it s probably the first and last time that i will stay in this hotel and it s too bad because it has so much potential but poorly managed.

Very spacious, beautiful grounds and literally 2 minutes from the beach. There are 3 swimming pools that I saw. One being very big.

Location is quite good, beach front in a quiet place.

Facilities are old and not well maintained. Pool water not clean.

Amazing view from the terrace and good breakfast served each morning. Nice beach in front of the hotel and location is 10 mins from the nairport.

the calm ambiente, the location by the sea the service staff was friendly and tried to solve problems or requests new TV screens, no English programmes

the hotel is run down! the fridge was either deep freezing or nothing, Water froze to Ice the aircon is too loud, needed to be shut down at night. the offer for lunch and dinner was poor the furniture and doors (bathroom!) are partly damaged

I like the location of the property.

The villa we stayed in clearly needed repairs…. and maintenance.
