lovely old house and nice clean and very comfortable

We had a lovely stay at Woodlands. Rooms were huge. Warm, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Lots of parking and just a few minutes walk from places to eat and the train station to take you into the centre of Liverpool.

The size of the room was really big and clean and a very comfortable bed the breakfast was fantastic and the host was very pleasant and knowledgeable of places to visit while staying there.

Very minor suggestion: Would have liked a bit more of a range for drinks at breakfast, eg other types of teas or juice. Also a choice to have additional items such as hash browns or mushrooms.

Large, quiet, comfortable room in great location near bus stop and train station. Pubs and restaurants nearby.

Bernie is a wonderful Host. She is very caring and attentive to her guests' needs. Woodlands Guest House is 5 min steps from the railway of waterloo and in 10 minutes you can reach Liverpool Central and many more attraction sites, like Crosby beach. The area around the Guest House doesn't offer much but there are a few nice pubs and restaurants. Rooms are clean and tidy. English breakfast very good. Would definitely recommend if you are keen to stay out of the chaos of the city.

Lovely quiet location but close to Waterloo high street and station aswell as Crosby beach with the Anthony Gormley statues. Great breakfast, spacious clean room and very reasonable price.

Would have liked a little bit more storage for luggage.

rooms can be quite cold, it was quite windy and as it’s a large older property it was quite whistly but it added character, I actually prefer it on the cooler side so was quite comfortable but my mum found it a bit chilly at times

The location was perfect, it is in a quiet area but only a short train ride into the city centre. Breakfast was nice but a bit small.

The bed was a bit hard for me but some people like hard beds. The breakfast was delicious but a bit small and basic.
