After reading some of the previous reviews we started to regret booking this villa, this was the 4th time we stayed in a villa at mazzaron country club but 1st time at this particular villa. As for the cleanliness we could not fault it, it was spotless, no problem there at all. It is just every thing is getting worn out and really does need updating.The beds made an awful noise when you moved, the mattress was rock hard. The pool was ok, yes the odd tile missing but that made no affect and we saw the pool man twice in the 10days we stayed there so the pool was very clean. We had a major sewage blockage which which resulted in the the toilet spewing out stinking dirty water all over the bathroom floor. But I would have to say that Sabine the villa manager and her husband got on and sorted very quickly, Though sods law it was my birthday and we had the day planned but we had to go back to the villa [we were out] and wait in until after lunch when the blockage was sorted no spare key! No fault can be blamed on Sabine [manager] and her Husband they were absolutely brilliant. But what has rankled me most was the owner. No help in arranging a late checkin had to contact Sabine sort it out. Had an email a week before we left informing me I had to pay 80 euros cash for cleaning and meet and greet and their words; No cash No keys! Also, as the owner, a short email to us to apologise for the inconvenience of the sewage leak in the bathroom would have been nice. All that said we still had a lovely 10 days with fantastic weather Would we stay there again? probably not.

My husband and I stayed at this villa in June during a heatwave. We were able to check in early as arranged with Sabina (keyholder), she showed us around briefly and told us that the swimming pool is cleaned once maybe twice a week and to shower before entering the pool. The wardrobe door wouldn't open in the main bedroom as half of it was padlocked with the owners stuff but something had fallen stopping our door from opening so we had to wait for maintenance to come and fix it. Whilst we were waiting we thought we would go in the pool, that couldn't happen as it was filthy, I phoned Sabina the next day to ask when it would be cleaned and she said maintenance would be there the following day which he was, also our last full day at the villa, the pump to the pool stopped working so the water was very murky. The outside shower didn't work, we tried to use it before going in the pool but couldn't turn it off as it was so old. The bbq was so dirty we couldn't use it, the outside tiling needed a good clean, couldn't walk bare foot outside. As mentioned in a previous review, the ceramic tiles have come away and in the bottom of the pool. All the photos are old as the outside furniture isn't what is shown, sunbeds really dirty, the table chairs are the white plastic ones, the canopy over the table isn't there anymore just a rectangular parasol that isn't in a base so when the wind blew it swung round. The bedroom furniture isn't the same as the photos, the bed is on wheels and the thin mattress was very uncomfortable, couldn't sleep very well because of the mattress and the fact there was no aircon, we would have paid extra to use the aircon that was padlocked away. The pillows were disgusting, very stained, no pillow protectors, didn't notice it til the end of the holiday. Of all the villas we have stayed in, this one was the worse, we have always had a welcome package with essentials to start our holiday off, but nothing in this villa. The area is very nice though, we would drive down to the Marina everyday and walk along the beach and have lunch (tapas) in one of the restaurants.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Sabina qui a rapidement agit sur un problème de canalisation. La villa est très agréable mais nous avons beaucoup souffert de la chaleur car nous n'avions pas accès à la climatisation. Heureusement que nous avons pu profiter de la piscine qui est entretenue mais vétuste, beaucoup de carreaux se decollent et restent au fond de l'eau. Nous avons trouvé le carrelage extérieur pas du tout nettoyé et n'avons pas utilisé le barbecue car très sale mais ça c'est chaque fois pareil car les locataires précédents ne prennent pas le temps de nettoyer. Aussi nous préférons emmener notre propre grill électrique. Malgré tout nous avons passé de bonnes vacances.

We had such a lovely stay at Casa Alsan, which is clearly a much-loved family holiday home. It was perfect for our trip with our kids, with a beautiful pool, well kitted-out patio and a fully equipped kitchen (perfect for a keen cook like me!). Thank you for lending us your home.

Lovely villa just a little tired and altho a lovely urbanisation just a little too quiet and remote for us.

La estancia y el sitio perfectos , la limpieza sobre todo de la piscina a la entrada ,muy mal , tuvimos que limpiarla de todos los restos de cloró dejados por los operarios , las mesas y sillas con mucho polvo , el resto bien , atendieron mi solicitud de TV y enviaron a los técnicos ,problema de la antena por suciedad en la canalización de la señal. Demasiado acotado todo , espacioso los armarios , el aire acondicionado en Agosto es imprescindible y lo tienen cerrado con llave ,. La casa está muy bien y enclavada en un sitio tranquilo , y es lo mejor que tiene
