Found this house whilst searching Vrbo for a place to stay in Brugge. Yes this isn’t exactly in the middle of Brugge but that’s what makes it better. The walk from the station takes between 10-15mins and then a further 10-15 to the middle of Brugge. There’s a shop in the station that stays open until 2000 every day plus a bakery around 15min walk north. Patrick, the owner, was brilliant and spoke very good English. Unfortunately the pilot light had gone out on the boiler but when we told Patrick he was over straight away to fix it. The heating was limited to 21C which is understandable with the gas prices but this did mean the house was a little cold at night. Also on the listing there wasn’t a mention of the downstairs WC, not an issue at all but maybe it would be helpful for people the know in the future. Over all the house was great, very clean and tidy. We as a family loved it.

We were greeted by Patrick who took the time to showcase the highlights of Brugge and gave us another suggestion of a visit to Ypres. That will not be soon forgotten as it was truly memorable. The Maison Marcel is very well equipped with everything you could need and the bicycles are brilliant to help with getting around. We were sorry to leave as our stay was super comfortable! Thank you to Patrick and Dominique!

Very clean house. Owner present on arrival and showed us the house and details of it. Great location with a 5-10 minute walk to train station and then just beyond station into town. Very walkable. Nice small patio to enjoy the weather outside. Great stay!

Sauber und geschmackvoll. Bei einem Problem war Patrick sofort da und hat es behoben.

Alles gut. Das Haus tip top. Komunikatien perfekt. Leider konnten wir wegen Bauarbeiten den zum Haus gehörenden Parkplatz nicht benützen. Marcel wusste das zu voraus und hat sich um eine spezielle Parkkarte bemüht was wir super fanden. Am Tag der Abreise war bei uns vor dem Haus der Graben noch offen, Als ich die Arbeiterfragte ob sie uns Steine legen könnten damit wir unser Gepäck verladen können haben sie freundlicherweise einen Gehweg für uns gemacht. Wecker brauchten wir in dieser Zeit keinen da die Arbeiter punkt 7.00 mit der Arbeit begonnen haben....... Mit freundlichen Grüssen A. Kalasek

Maison très bien équipée et idéalement située pour visiter Bruges et ses environs. Très appréciable la chambre + salle de bain + WC en rdc pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Great communication with Fabrice. Convenient secure parking. We used the extra upstairs room because there were six of us and we didn’t want to use the sofa bed. Wish we would have had more time to explore the neighborhood.

Patrick was the perfect host who gave us great info on the must-see sights of Bruges. His home is a wonderful place just a 5-minutes walk from the train station in a beautiful neighbourhood. The home is spacious and was pristine on arrival. We enjoyed spending time at the property as a group of friends and the use of the six bikes made the trip even more enjoyable, as access to Bruges was made easier with the addition of pedal power. We can't thank Patrick and Dominique enough for their hospitality and we all agreed we would make a return trip as we enjoyed our experience of Patrick's home and Bruges so much.

Un séjour plus que parfait, un accueil chaleureux et avec des explications très claires de la part des propriétaires lors de notre arrivée. Une maison agréable où on se sent comme chez nous. Possibilité d aller à Bruges à pied en 15 min. Tout est à disposition pour les enfants. Rien à redire, vraiment top.

Parfait pour decouvrir la ville Bruges

Zeer gezellig vakantiehuisje, voor eerst dat we gevoel hadden thuis te komen in plaats van in een vakantiehuis aan te komen. Zeer leuk en smaakvol ingericht en op wandelafstand van Brugge station en centrum. Kunnen het alleen maar aanraden, en denken er zeker aan om nog eens terug te gaan. Zeer aangename, behulpzame en vriendelijke huiseigenaars.

Ruime vakantiewonig met alle comfort net buiten stadscentrum. Een aanrader!!

Het verblijf had de perfecte locatie. Alles was aanwezig en goede introductie bij aankomst van de eigenaar. We waren allemaal heel tevreden. Dit huis is zeker aan te raden!

Maison très chaleureuse, confortable, spacieuse, tout est prévu pour y passer un excellent séjour !

This spacious house has everything you need for a stay in Bruges. The location is great as well - about a 10min walk to the train station, which is right across from the canals circling the downtown. We enjoyed our walk into the city every day (but there are bikes available for those who like). Patrick welcomed us and answered all questions we had. He allowed us to stay longer than planned, which was great. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the house was clean and very well organized. Highly recommend!!

Superbe maison et localisation !

Gute Lage Prima das man 4 Fahrräder zu Verfügung gestellt bekam. Brügge mit Fahrrad ist top.

La maison est vraiment grande est chaleureuse. Je n’ai pas été accueilli par l’hôte mais tout s’est très bien passé. Il a été très arrangeant pour venir qui est de notre départ. Je recommande bien évidemment

The house was all the pictures had promised: clean, very nicely furnished with a love for tasteful detail. Enough space for everyone. The warm welcome by Patrick, the owner, made us feel right at home. Good and clear information regarding current covid 19 regulations. In addition to a city map, Patrick also gave us super tips for sightseeing, food and shopping. In less than 10 minutes you can reach the the town center (by bicycle) and supermarkets are in walking distance. We had a great time. Thank you Patrick and Dominique

Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad in deze mooie woning. Ruim voldoende ruimte en alles zag er super netjes uit. Ook de locatie is erg fijn.

Een fijn huis met veel ruimte. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Wij hebben het uitstekend naar onze zin gehad!

Supernet en groot huis. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig. Met 20 minuutjes ben je lopend in het centrum. Contact met verhuurders verliep vlekkeloos. Vlot antwoord en zelfs extra tips! Kortom een aanrader dit huis!

Stayed for a week with my girlfriend and 2 other couples. Patrick met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the house. The property is clean and was more than enough room for the 6 of us. It was great to be within walking distance of the city and train station. Very convenient to getting around Bruges or hopping on the train/bus for a day trip elsewhere.
