The owners are caring to all guests necessities. We loved the dinner - typical toscan meal. The location is in a quiet village near Siena.

Enjoyed the beautiful countryside and delicious homemade breakfast. The owner went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Superb accommodation with swimming pool, beautiful decor, comfortable room and guest lounges. Excellent breakfast with some homemade preserves. Amazing views of Siena from garden and terrace. We were fortunate to have a room with views of the swimming pool, valley and across to Siena.

Podere La Strega was great! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and well maintained. There is a pool overlooking all of Siena. After a few hectic days touring Italy, having a pool was a big bonus. The location of the B&B is about a 10 minute drive from Siena, which is why we chose it. I believe she said there is a path where you can walk but we didn't attempt it. The breakfast was delicious with many little treats. You do need to share the table with other guests but for us that wasn't a big deal at all. Our room was the lavender room on the second floor and we had the same full view of Siena from our window. The room was small but had all we needed in it. There was also a kitchen for guest use but we didn't use it. If we are back in that area in the future I'd love to stay again!

The only negative for us was the bed in the room. It was quite uncomfortable, but still not a big deal. We had an amazing bright room but while we were there we also heard other guests mention how their rooms were dark and small, so if you're going to book here, you may want to go out of your way to message and ask for a 2nd floor room.

Peaceful location, perfect to relax by the pool with a stunning view of the city. The hosts were very kind and welcoming too.

We had an AWESOME time! The location is incredible, we had a perfect stay with a beautiful view on Siena, a comfortable quiet room and lovely hosts. Highly recommend to travel with car so to enjoy little day trips into Siena, Firenze, Montepulciano, S. Gimignano and more! Absolutely recommended!

The rooms are a little basic

Letizia and her husband are so welcoming and their little slice of paradise is perfectly presented and located just far enough away to be able to admire the view of Siena whilst being only a short drive to the centre.

Only the very narrow street (which can’t be helped) to get to the property you need to drive carefully around some blind corners. It’s ok just go slow.

This place is so dreamy! The property is located just outside Siena, you can enjoy nature while being very close to the city. We had a plan to spend the second day driving around Tuscany, but we just wanted to enjoy this place instead. We walked to Siena (around 35 minutes to Piazza del Campo), and after the sightseeing, the pool was the perfect reward after the walk. I regret staying there for two nights only. For those without a car - no worries! We took a taxi from the train station (10 eur), and after the check-in, we walked everywhere. Just remember to ask for a shortcut to Siena! It is really magical. With olive trees and beautiful views. If you are used to walking then you will enjoy it. The hillside roads are steep though, so if you are not comfortable with uphill-downhill walks then better organize a car for your own wellbeing.

There was nothing I didn't like. Such a great place to relax and recharge your batteries.

The hosts were very helpful, we were given a few really good tips for vineyards to visit, there was a help yourself policy to drinks in the kitchen (you pay for them at the end) and the breakfast was in a really nice spot outside which was beautiful and Covid safe.

There was nothing I didn't love, this place was beautiful inside and out, the view was incredible and the hosts were lovely. You are positioned out of town which means that you do really need a car but you can get a bus into Siena, which we did one evening.

Great stay

This place is heaven. We stayed here only one night and we were sad when we have to leave. We stayed in beautifull old villa with breathtaking view on Siena and lovely garden with pool. Owners are kind, helpfull and breakfast were delicious- all was fresh, nice decorated. We will comeback certainly.
