Room looks old, toilet was dirty

Being by the lake was nice

Balcony was full of pigeon waste. We were unable to use it.

We always stay at this property as we love the location and the rooms are a good size.

This is the first time in all our years of staying at the hotel that the 2 staff members on check in were rude and not helpful at all. We had booked 2 rooms but they only had 1 booked, I showed them my confirmation and they said well that's what happens when you book with a 3rd party (Booking.com). I have always booked with them and never had an issue before.

Excellent beach front property, accessible parking and easy check in. Room was clean, needs some maintenance but minor. Balcony looked into the lake, even in winter I enjoyed it 😁

Beach location. Great lake views. Clean. Currently renovations and upgrades happening.

Lots of single use plastic. Pool didn't open until 9am.

there was a slight musty smell in the room when we first checked in so left balcony door and windows open but soon seemed to drift out x

Room is spacious

the only elevators are in the centre, it's a long walk from the elevator to the end where our room was. In the middle section there are 6 steps down and 6 steps up. For my wife who has walking difficult is a challenge, We could have asked for a room on a level.

Vanity is outside the washroom.

The room (if you can believe this) did not have any chairs. Asked for one at front desk, and was told by one staff that the room we booked did not qualify for any chairs. Nice computer desk and connections but had to sit on the floor to use.

Better attitude by gentleman at front desk re the chair issue. Women that was also at front desk was okay, she eventually arranged for a desk chair. Should not have to go through this. Could not get a credit card receipt— printer not working- really! Supposed to e-mail me one, not received yet -Not working?

Room was clean. Accoutrements were helpful. Nice looking out window at the lake

Restaurant/Lounge was closed. Another that was recommended by staff that we walked to also had the kitchen closed. For the price we thought we should have had a room with a balcony. No discount with our Holiday Inn member card or BCAA membership
