Breakfast was great and the customer service was exceptional. I’ve experienced hotels all over the world and this was some of the best hotel staff. All were friendly and happy to help at any given point. It’s quite obvious that working conditions are amazing. Will be more than happy to book again for our next summer.
My only complaint would be details of cleanliness. Blinds that desperately needed to be dusted, bathrooms that needed to have more than one roll of toilet paper, duvet covers that needed a good wash and mainly just dust. I’ve never been someone who focuses on little details but those certain things should be at an exceptional level for no matter what room you pay for. I run a busy spa and attention to those details make an huge difference. Other than that, it was an amazing stay.

Breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel was wonderful. Walking distance to many things.
Parking was difficult. Small parking lot but it was free which was very nice.

We loved everything about the Great George - it was perfect in every way. But I guess the icing on the cake were the wonderful staff.

Excellent Breakfast lots of variety and well attended by staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent we were able to park at the hotel and walk to all of our destinations without any issues, including shows, restaurants, shopping and the water front.

Perfect location really close to everything. The staff were very friendly. We chose the romantic getaway room which was beautifully laid out and very comfortable. There was a great selection for breakfast. Nice extras like free coffee and cookies were appreciated.
Although breakfast was great, everyone was sat in lounge chairs with coffee/game tables. If a little of the furniture could be removed and 3-4 small tables placed in the room, breakfast would have been more comfortable. It didn't matter to us so much, but someone with limited movement could find it difficult.

Awesome room, very large. Jacuzzi tub was fantastic.
The standing shower could use a shower head that is easier to angle. And the bed could do with a memory foam pad as it was a touch too firm. But these are very minor issues and I'm reaching for them.

Breakfast is hot and cold, lovely atmosphere, lit fireplace, large beautifully decorated double parlor. Comfortable soft easy chairs each with its own small table making dining easy.
Parking is in back yard but parking areas are small and might be a bit tight if the hotel is full.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Once you park your car, you can walk to Restaurants and entertainment. Happy Hour is appreciated and breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Very warm and inviting place to stay

I booked a specific room and apon check in the room I was anticipating I did not receive and when question staff . They apologized and saide rhat the tub has been droken for a while in the room i booked and offer me a new room. .traveled 2 hr and had a photographer hired and had to deal with a room with bunch of mirrors pointing back at the photographer.

Bathroom wall tile cracked and grout need replacing in tub surround. Bath mat filthy!

The staff were wonderful, the parking was great the location was close to restaurants and entertainment. Bed was so comfy and cleanliness was great. Breakfast was super nice and did I mention the 24 hour coffee, tea, and wonderful cookies?

l love the heritage buildings and history of the hotel. Fabulous, welcoming lobby, people mingled there all day long. We arrived the night Hurricane Fiona hit and the staff were stupendous. Calm and did everything possible to make our stay wonderful.

great location! clean. nice continental breakfast but they had a hard time keeping it all full. seating in the breakfast room was tight.
buildings are historically old and could use a little “pick me up”. the air con was a portable thing coming in from the window and it was very noisy!

The Great George is a one-of-a-kind property that is staffed by amazing people who are most accommodating. The breakfast offerings are extensive and nobody leaves hungry. We also enjoyed the afternoon wine socials. Located across the street from the St. Dunstan's Basilica in Charlottetown, this is the must-see church on PEI. Everything in Charlottetown is within easy walking distance from The Great George.

The staff were exceptional. A small problem with our first room was handled brilliantly and to our total satisfaction. Small details such as happy hour at 5pm, free coffee and cookies at 3pm, a variety of interesting games available in the lounge which itself was exceptionally comfortable, all made this stay memorable. Our room was excellent, as was breakfast.
The location and style of the hotel were both brilliant.
