Location was very good for exploring Sooke and vicinity, linens were clean, beds comfortable (did not use hide-a-bed but others report very uncomfortable), resort grounds and setting very picturesque.

Property starting to show its age, and could do with a refresh; leather (?) couch in living room area was very worn (brown colour worn right off on cushions and arms, which was, frankly, pretty shabby, and not something that would have happened over night), some walls were scuffed and in need of repaint, cream carpets needed a cleaning, bbq was non-functioning (we had planned a steak supper but fortunately checked the bbq before buying them, and ended up going out to a great restaurant instead!), and had to rummage around among several incomplete coffee makers squirrelled away in various closets in order to assemble one that would work. Minor faults in and of themselves, but combined suggest that property was not being maintained that regularly, or up to standards we would expect for the rental price (and the added cleaning fee). No A/C; fortunately we were there before the summer heat began and were quite comfortable, but that could have been a factor had we come later in the season. Property was in first tier in from highway, which was extremely busy and quite noisy at all hours; fortunately bedroom windows were on quiet side away from road and could be left open at night.

The door codes arrive too late by email. For example, I left for the office to find out what to do 5 minutes before my arrival time. No one was available at the office at the appointed time, and I didnt see the email with the detailed entry/door code instructions until 10 minutes later and after I had called the emergency numbers. I would have preferred to have the email arrive a few minutes earlier so that I would have known not to go to the office.

Today I finally received a call from the resort management (Jennifer) and change my opinion, as I understood that it was a communication problem with Booking.com. Their offered their apology and that is enough for me!

First of all, I asked for a early check in that was refused and when I arrived at 4:00 PM I must wait until 5:10 PM for the place be available. I booked for 7 people with one of the bedroom with two full beds and the place were only for six because both bedroom had only one queen bed each. I asked the reception and they have no option, transfering the problem to Booking.com way to make reservations. Therefore I had to spend C$ 90 buying an airbed... but the worst is that the frontdesk told me that someone would give a call, wich I am still waiting for.

No comforter for the sofa bed. Walking upstairs can be heard clearly downstairs. Checkout time is 10 am and late check out is not possible. Guests are asked to take out garbage upon checking out and the main garbage area is far from the unit. The worst is extra $170 USD fee

Everything was very good. Friendly staff, very comfortable place. Perfect location. It was quite, private, and very relaxing. We didn’t want to leave. Its kitchen has every tools you need to cook or bbq. Balconies have beautiful views.

I can’t comment on this. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The booking was not refundable upon booking and the advertised price of $186+tax did not mention anything about an extra cleaning fee . This cost not being disclosed prior to our booking meant we were forced to pay more than double what we expected, and had we known about this cost we would not have booked in. We received an email saying "Cleaning Fee for Long Term Stays: Please note, long term stays of 27+ nights will be subject to an additional cleaning fee of $164+ tax" . But we did not stay for a long term. We were asked to check in after 4pm and arrived at 5pm and then departed around 9.45 am. Our single nights sleep cost us $363.00 for a unit that was supposed to cost $186. Very disappointed and feeling ripped off.

Amazing service!

House had a nice cozy layout. Everything was super comfy and clean. I really enjoyed the hot tub. I also learned while I was there that bikes and SUP's are available. If I were staying longer I would have utilized those.

The only suggestion is that it would have been nice if the Kitchen was stalked with basic spices.

it was very hot everywhere for May…..30 degrees! the downstairs bedroom that we normally would never have used, was nice a cool. what a pleasant surprise

Very close to bike hire shop. Great size for us. Lovely balcony.

Little bit further from coffee / food shops (couldn't walk easily). We had a car so not a big problem. Apartment over three floors: bedrooms on top and bottom with kitchen and lounge in the middle. Not great for kids who didn't want to sleep alone. Toilet not on this middle floor - had to walk up or downstairs to access one.

We were delighted, in general. Beautiful location, spacious 3-bedroom space, well equipped kitchen, nice views of of the water, especially from the upper level. We enjoyed a crisp evening in the hot tub looking at the stars. Superb fancy pizza a couple minutes away.

The most important thing would be to send the door lock instructions with the code. We could not get cell data to work to access online instructions when at the front door. Fortunately, we could access the unit's wifi from outside so that we were able to figure out how to get in. Sink in lower bathroom did not drain properly and was a little yucky. We would have appreciated written instruction all in one place rather than scattered here and there. (It took us 24 hours to figure out how to turn on some lights!) Otherwise perfect.

the condo was clean, the kitchen well equipped and it was close enough to where we wanted to be. When the coffee maker stopped working, they replaced it the same day.

The sofa, which was a pull-out, was worn and very uncomfortable to sit on. All the pillows are very fluffy, with no choice for flatter ones, which gave me a sore neck. There was an unusual amount of snow just before we arrived. When all that snow started to melt, it slid off the roof and right into the entryway. No one came to clean a path for us and we could not find a shovel. For anyone who has difficulty with stairs, there is no bathroom on the main level. All units have stairs.

It was spacious and clean, with covered parking, two bathrooms, two decks, and an excellent kitchen.

Good place location near the Sooke basin, close to parks and close to cafe and shop.

The condo is pretty clean except the carpet is dirty and can smell dust mites. There isn't enough hot water for a family of three. Other than these two things, it was a good stay overall. Thank you.

Excellent location, all required amenities available. Good view, especially from the top balcony.
