We thought the location would be closer to where our grandson lived in Sunset Valley, but traffic was horrible but we made it work. Next time we come we may look for a location that may be closer.

I didn’t like the fact that I stay at other Hilton properties and earn points, and then we were told once we were on our way that booking through booking.com I would not earn any points or get any discount. We would’ve selected a location closer to where we wanted to be had we known what we found out once we got there. Not a happy camper for that particular decision. On our next trip we’ll ask questions before we choose our hotel.

Good location close to the centre of Austin (by car), big room with kitchenette and large comfortable bed. Great complimentary breakfast and super friendly staff.

staff was friendly and helpful. Gal at the front desk got us ice front the kitchen late one night. breakfast was good.room layout is great- new looking appliances.

this hotel needs a deep clean, more staff and some updates. floor in kitchen area was dirty and there was an odor. to that area. drawers had some funky sticky stuff in them. no housekeeping on one day and only towel drop off on the second night. carpet looks nasty and needs replacing. not coming back.

Charged a deposit at check-in without any explanation - was little surprised that did not mention at any where when searching for this hotel, felt like a cheap place especially my credit card information on file with them.

The bed was super comfortable! The staff were helpful and pleasant. The suite was quite clean. The amenities in the bathroom and kitchenette were very useful.

Well, for the price that was asked, I was surprised at how things seemed so worn on the edges. There were a number of places where the carpet was very worn or frayed at the edges, some of the furniture was a bit shabby, or in need of repair. The elevator (south) was a bit clunky and scary...wasn't sure if it was in the best shape. Also, on the evening we arrived and the morning we left (but not the day in between) there was a strong odor in the corridor outside our 5th floor suite and especially closer to the elevator. (not sure, but it smelled like an old basement or laundry room, burning natural gas, a little mildew, etc.) It seemed like the hotel was in need of a general refresh. Also, there was not channel guide for the TV or on-demand streaming, which should be added in this day and age. Lastly, contrary to many great reviews (presumably pre-Covid) the "simplified grab-and-go" breakfast was sad and left much to be desired. That was a pretty big disappointment.
