Friends staff, good continental breakfast and snacks/drinks for adults and kids from 5:30-730

The room was disgusting!!! Unfortunately they were over booked so we couldn't even switch. I wanted to even wear socks while showering. Gross

Very clean, friendly, helpful staff. Loved that we were able to bring out dogs with us.

The swimming and breakfast was awesome.

Around 2:30 in the morning I got up to use the restroom and the filter cover in the hall fell on my head and water went all over me to smell something burning. I called the office and they changed my rooms but never even got an apology or nothing from no one I didn't even care that they still fully charged me. The pool was awesome and breakfast was tasty.

The staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. My husband and I really liked being able to get drinks in the evening.

We were very disappointed that the indoor pool was not heated. This was one of the reasons we booked this hotel so our kids could use the pool when we got to the rooms for the evening. But the water was freezing.

The staff was really nice and it was clean .

They don’t let you bring balloons for parties .

Location was good.

The bathtub clogged up badly when showering and had to be serviced at 10pm. No bedding on the fold out sofa. Food was not great and made our stomachs a little sour. Most of staff was good. One rude bartender kind of snapped at my daughter.

Hotel was very dated. Rooms could use updating. Would have preferred queen beds and free parking. Most hotels in the area except the ones downtown have free parking.

Spider Webs inside and outside windows, so we were killing spiders. Things weren't thoroughly wiped down. So when I got a towel to clean the surface of table , sink ,counter , they were dirty. Couldn't control room temp so when the outside temp dropped, instead of the thermostats getting warm, it got colder to freezing! No room service provided even when requested ! When requested items , Front desk refused to comply, he and she stated we HAD to come get them ourselves. During our reunion banquet , a staff with short dreads who was bringing food out, was rude to a family member refusing to give him food he was entitled to receive and spoke to him disrespectfully! Rude security on our last night referring to us as" you people"! Also, on the last night of our stay ,An older Caucasian male front desk staff starting getting very rude , blocking doors not wanting us to go out, not wanting us to talk.. and Caucasian female started being rude telling us we couldn't walk in areas and following us around although the areas WERE NOT blocked off or restricted ! We had none of these issues prior days but the night before departure , we had disrespectful staff members !!

Rooms were very outdated big red stains on rugs couch had white stains all over small chair has rips and arms were horribly dirty I wouldn’t even let my kids sit on couch or chair bathroom wasn’t very thorough with cleaning even my tissue box had dust on it the room had. A bad smell for the whole 3 days I was there and also the air conditioner was not correct it ran all day n nite and the room was so warm I couldn’t sleep my fridge had some nasty dirty liquid in it garbage cans were disgusting and bathtub was not very appealing I wouldn’t let kids soak in bath

Parking

Very outdated and somewhat dingy. My top floor room smelled like somebody turned on the heater for the first time come winter it was very hard to cool the room down there was no airflow, which made it feel very stuffy.

The Desk people up front on all shifts were friendly and help with any questions, rooms we’re comfortable nice size and the hospitality was great anytime I’m in Columbia they have my stay

Breakfast was good.

Bathrooms were dirty, lighting was terrible and room were dark, AC DID NOT WORK WELL, we were hot. Sinks were clogged.

I enjoyed sleeping in bed, breakfast, and the overall layout of the hotel. The staff at the front desk were also friendly and helpful.

The hotel could use some renovations. I noticed the wallpaper and some minor cracks towards the bathroom floor. Also, the elevator walls were damaged and needed repairs.

I've stayed at this Embassy Suites in the past, and loved it! I'm not sure what's happened, but the hotel has definitely gone downhill. The room wasn't very clean. Everything was very dated and the bathroom mirror frame and the wall had, what appeared to be toothpaste spatter all over both The bottom of the bathtub was brown and appeared not to have been cleaned. The bathroom sink barely drained. There was an unknown brown spot on the floor. The couch had small rips and no throw pillows. The elevator was dirty and the staff was cool and aloof. It's almost as if we weren't welcome. The breakfast was mediocre. The grits we kept in an open container and cold. I have to travel for business in November and I can guarantee I will not be staying at this Embassy Suites when I do.

The location was perfect for what we needed.

Upon entering our room (715), the smell of urine was awful. The room was damp, and warm. I thought it would be better once the a/c was lowered. It wasn’t. I had to buy Snuggle dryer sheets from the store in the lobby just to freshen up the room. I was afraid to put my suitcase on the floor, and even sit on the living room furniture. There were so many stains on the couch and chair, it was scary to know what it could have been from. On our 2nd day, the a/c wasn’t working in the building. The room was so warm that we went and bought a fan. The air didn’t come on for over 24 hours later. Aesthetically, Room 715 seemed to be forgotten with any renovations. The living room furniture was worn to the point of fraying, and as previously mentioned, horribly stained. The unfinished bathroom door had been replaced at some point and never painted. But there’s paint from the trim touch-ups all over it. The light over the shower is loaded with what looks like bugs, and the light blinks like there’s a short. I did look into changing our room, but there were a few events that weekend, and no availability to change. We like to stay at ES in most of the cities we visit. I most definitely won’t be back to this one.

We booked regular room and was given a smoking room . We dont smoke . Ceiling was coming down room stunk . Hilton. Is going down hill

Ate dinner at the restaurant and my hamburger with fries was tasty. Bar maids were friendly during Happy Hour. Staff that checked us in were pleasant.

Staff who has the responsibility to clean the rooms are mostly non English speaking employees. It was frustrating to attempt to ask them for clean towels or to change the bed linen. In addition, we were there for 3 nights and were not able to enjoy the pool. The water was very murky and dirty. Even the staff indicated not to go in the pool due to sanitation…

The hotel looks like it hasn’t been resonated in decades, everything was dusty, brown stain in tub, stains on couches/chair, and bed sham filthy

I liked the location, the complimentary breakfast, and the manager’s reception.

I didn’t like that they charged you $10.00 a day to park your car in THEIR parking lot after you are paying to stay in their hotel. They had adequate parking….a whole entire parking lot just for the Embassy….PRIVATE LOT and they STILL charged $10.00 a day/night to park there. Also the bar’s drinks were EXTREMELY overpriced. Just for a basic Bud Light on draft was $9.00 a glass. The prices were WAYYYYY OVERPRICED and marked up.
