They had a whole kitchen
Worst hotel experience ever. I’ll never stay in this location again or with Hilton. This was my first Hilton experience! I expected more. At first the manager Shawn (or Sean, I didn’t pay attention to how it was spelled. Forgive me if I am wrong) was really pleasant. He had a great personality and was high energy. Upon booking he accidentally charged my card for full price after he had seen that we already paid on Booking. He told me to pull out my card and did not seem worried we would be charged. The next morning (we checked in Wednesday at 3pm) my husband had noticed the full amount was pending to be taken out of our bank account. We stayed at this hotel for work related reasons. Not for fun. The manager was not at the hotel the hours we needed him. The other staff members could not resolve or help with the issue. Two were sympathetic but could not help. Kayla was one of them. One was just downright rude. While asking for assistance one morning another customer in front of us had the same issue we did. We tried calling Homewood Suites main customer service line (not the hotel we were staying at because we knew that would not be helpful) and the person responding had said that Booking should not have charged us and that Booking had to refund us. We called Booking and they opened an investigation. Actually, while calling Homewood Suites customer service and Booking I ended up falling out of my chair because I was so upset and not paying attention. I was just focused on somehow trying to get the almost $500 back. That was embarrassing for me. We headed to the work event and one of the staff members, Kayla had called back saying that they canceled the pending transaction. We knew we had to come back because there was conflicting issues. The customer service said it was Bookings fault, and the hotel was now saying that they canceled their transaction from Wednesday. We had to break away from work to come back to resolve this issue while Shawn was there.

I reserved a room with a balcony, but when I checked in at the hotel, they informed me that it was not available.
they offered me a room on the ground floor which was very dirty and full of ants. The sink in the bathroom did not work.

I paid 20 more than the price given it booked 2 rooms and one room was 5 dollars more they were the exact same rooms also the faucet was loose.

The location was clean, well maintained, and up to date. All of the staff we interacted with were all very friendly. We had no problems with check in or check out and it is very reasonably priced as well.
The only thing I didn’t like was the sound of the airplanes constantly going overhead but that is nothing I was not expecting before we got there. I knew that being that close to the airport you were going to hear airplanes so that is nothing against the hotel

Beautiful outside area and entrance. Desk staff were kind and helpful.
Two different housekeepers walked in the room at different times without knocking.
The furniture was old and torn up. Though the inside of the refrigerator was clean the outside appeared dirty as well as the dishwasher door.
We stayed for a concert. We noticed room was stuffy before going and when we returned it was worse and had a horrible odor.
Coffee maker didn’t work, toilet paper holder was broken. For a HILTON IT WAS SADLY SHOCKING. Not enough parking for all guests

The breakfast was very slim on choices, there weren’t any plates. My son found a pill next to the bed when I brought it to the staff they said “oh, sorry you could’ve just threw it away.” Then my son also found peanuts by the bed, there was ashes on the balcony and the room smelled like cigarettes. Just wasn’t very clean.

Unfortunately my guest did not stay because the General Manager, Ryan Blake called me at 3pm and advised there was a problem with some of their room and they didn’t have a room available for my guest, I had to find another hotel at the last minute. I’m requesting a refund since the Homewood Suites canceled at the last minute. Please respond to my request for a refund of monies you took from my card. I also have reservations on 4/11-15/2023 for another guest that was booked through Booking.com that I’m afraid May be canceled at the last minute too, I really need someone to contact me ASAP,

The room needs updating. The shower drained slow, the closet door was broken and we have to fix just to get one side opened. The ceiling fan didn’t work. Just generally looked old and dingy.

We liked the location.
Our room was not clean at all, it was honestly gross. The mattress for the sofa bed was disgusting. When we arrived to check in we stood in the lobby for almost 30 minutes waiting for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. Our room key kept not working time and time again.

The kitchen staff were so friendly, I think her name was miss Bernice??She said she's 61yrs but extremely nice especially with my son 💙
The room was extremely cold.2 days of living as an eskimo wasn't what I signed up for. I called the help desk and I felt dismissed, all she said was no maintenance was available at the property and they were going to find ne a space heater. I waited and no one showed up even though I was concerned as to how many more people would be using space heaters in their rooms?That would be a disaster in the making, glad no one brought any but also wondering if they provide space heaters.

The staff were friendly. In particular Nicki. She was nice and always willing to help. She went out of her way to do the very best she could. She is above and beyond.I would also say that Columbus is the friendliest city I have ever visited.
There is a smell of Marijuana all throughout the halls of this hotel. Smoking and vaping is not allowed but smoking pot seems to be ok not be enforced and the smell is strong and constant. My air conditioner glitched the whole 3 days we were there. It worked sometimes and sometimes it would get very hot in our room. The cleaning crew did not vacuum our room and there were chunks of dirt in the carpet and we had no toilet paper and some other things were not stocked so we had to ask for items. Unfortunately for breakfast there were only eggs sausage waffles and oatmeal for hot foods. There were also muffins and such. This could be a very nice hotel but it has some issues to work on.

the sleeper sofa didn’t have sheets and cover in room, call down to desk for some but they never brought them to our room as they had said.
