Staff entered room early in the morning as there was still several hours prior to check out, hot tub was closed down for the day and was unable to enjoy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and was close to the Armory for a couple concerts we were attending.

The second day when the room next to us was occupied we could hear through some doors that were closed. I believe they were for when bigger groups stay and need two rooms so they don't have to go in and out of each room. I think if they would add some temporary sound proofing in between the doors when used as a single room would have helped.

I have always loved this hotel, it is beautifully designed with cozy rooms, and a friendly vibe all around. There is so much history and such a pretty view, it is absolutely my favorite hotel.

For the price I paid, the staff could’ve been more attentive. During my stay on the second night, I called down to the front desk and asked if I could get some extra towels. I was told no because they were “too busy” and “couldn’t leave the front desk right now.” I offered to go downstairs and meet them in the lobby to get the towels, to which I was told no again. I don’t think getting clean towels should be a hard thing, and it was very disrespectful. I’m not sure if I’ll be back, that really made me upset.

Very good location a bit of a walk to Nicollet Mall, and shopping but I knew prior to booking about the location. No big deal. I like the walk-in shower. I like the water fountain on the floors saves, money, and plastic bottle, and very refreshing. My room had a mini-fridge and that was nice to have for snacks.

When checking in person at front desk was surly. (Normandy had great front desk personnel a few years back what happened? Also broke a glass and it fell into the bathroom sink. I asked room attendant if they could clean it up. They did except the attendant just placed it in a plastic bag, along with the towel he used to wipe it up, and just left it on the bathroom sink counter. Also I asked if he could do a mop of bathroom floor just in case glass fell to the floor. I find pieces of glass on the floor. I don't know what happened to Normandy, they used to have great room attendants.

I had a 'party room' of adults in the room next to me who managed to party until 5 am. Since no one answered the phone at the front desk, I had to get fully dressed at 4AM to go downstairs and find someone. Even then, they continued to party, scream, slam doors, and act as if they had no understanding of a hotel. Staff has to be more on top of that. I'm not sure if I'll be booking this one again. The drive back home was super tough after having my sleep disturbed for 2 hours overnight.

Breakfest was ok, not many options or early opening hours. Would stay again. Ubers were always quick to downtown

The staff was very nice. We were able to take a shuttle to the comedienne's show. This was very nice as we aren't overly familiar with the area.

Housekeeping didn't touch our room. Generally, the bare minimum that is done is beds are made, trash emptied, and supplies (coffee pods, toilet paper, towels) refreshed. This didn't happen. I had to go to the front desk to request a roll of toilet paper and glasses (and was directed to the restaurant for glasses). There were no clean towels offered and no coffee pods provided for morning coffee. This is the first time I didn't leave a tip for Housekeeping.
