I didn’t like the bathroom and the service

Location to the beach

Have to pay to park in their parking lot. Did not get clean sheets first two days. Extremely loud “boiler” out some other equipment across from room that would run every couple minutes. Front desk refused to let us move rooms away from constant noise.

Not a damn thing

Booking was a hassle, the fact that y’all hold a $200 security deposit is ridiculous for subpar room for a subpar facility.

The location was nice, the view was beautiful

I had to call three times for a broken remote, they were renovating so parking was horrible, we were woken by sounds of hammering, the hallways reeked of smoke, there was no phone in any of the rooms (which with all the trafficking and things going on it’s needed, I have stage 4 lung cancer and it was just my son and I and really needed a phone if there was an emergency) There ONLY elevator that was working broke down for a period. The on-site cafe was out of almost everything and the pricing was not great for what you got.

The heated pool and hot tub. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful view from our room. We were on the 7th floor in C building.

Coffee wasn’t ready till 7 on Monday.

The room was extremely small and there were several gnats flying around the sink area that I had to keep swatting at just washing my hands.

We stayed in Room 218, we could see the pool, but not the beach. The mechanical room was right outside our room & there was something beeping in there the entire time we stayed, all day & all night. That needs to be fixed. We had to ask for towels & was cloths every day.

For the cost of 3-nights stay, very disappointed. Paint pealing off the bathroom door. There was a musty smell in our room. The elevator was nasty-smelly and made loud grinding noises, very scary at times!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was great.

Customer service. All the lady’s were super nice and friendly but the young man who checked us in was rude and would rather be listening to her AirPods. He got very irritated when I questioned why he had charged me 2x for the room (exact same amount), causing my debit card to be shut down. Elevator was pretty rough in building “B”

The beach was closer to the hotel than I had pictured which was a good thing

The food in the restaurant of the hotel was terrible and the price was ridiculous. The room was Tiny and dated. The door locks were not sturdy and you can see outside with the door closed.

We love everything about this place… from the friendly people to the beautiful views and beach access and the choice of pools

Location was excellent easy access to the beach and the balcony provided great views. Staff was friendly and cleaning/room service was great. Front desk was friendly and attended to any needs. Parking was also secure and open spots available. Good location to other attractions like restaurants, etc.

Elevator was broken so access to room took a very long time due to over use by the building and the building in general was in an older portion of the hotel so overall was a bit dated and bathroom layout was very tight with the water coming in and out as well. If possible would recommend staying in the other areas not 'C' building if possible.

POOR MAINTENANCE! Building C both elevators down first night. Moved to main building second night, elevator worked but made a lot of concerning noises and was very slow. Ice machine down for 2 days had to fetch ice from another building until it went down. Washers down in main building on day 3. Housekeeping staff (Nia) very rude, daughter went to bathroom on main floor and was told she should have went to building C as she was leaving the bathroom and (Nia) was coming in to clean. Same housekeeper was mopping the outside corridor on our floor(5th) and did not put a wet floor sign out and my daughter fell as she was coming out of the elevator. Cleaning supplies and mop handle left out in corridor for several days. Air conditioner in our room (506) made a horrible noise while fan was on (EVERY 10 MINUTES OR SO!!! ) Had to go get towels at front desk for showers every day. Handrails in bathroom rusty, baseboards poorly maintained, crown molding a foot short on 2 walls, sprinklers rusty, window covering peeling on window above door to balcony, blinds hard to open and close. Furniture that held microwave and fridge in poor condition, shower hard to turn off, and water pressure very poor. We literally heard complaints from customers every single time we went through the lobby to leave!When you pay that much for A ROOM, NOT EVEN A CONDO, I would expect the property would not have this many issues. When comparing other properties and prices, it’s clear that the Wyndam Garden property is inferior to others in the Destin Fort Walton Beach area, and judging from our experience it’s reputation is already suffering. It could be so much more!

The price for 2 nights was very high. It is beach side though.

It my new fav hotel. I'm moving back to FWB and having a great hotel and staff that cares about their customers is even better. They asked me everyday how my apartment search was going asked me if I was having a good day or if I ate anywhere good or new today.

Only one elevator was working in the building we were in. The beach access is HORRIBLE! Steps, steps, steps. Luckily there was a public beach access right beside the hotel with no steps.
