The firepit outside had a lovely view of the sea and sunset. However, the chairs were covered in spiders, spider webs and vines/grass growing through them. We had to clean and weed them out ourselves. Although we were offered wood to burn, we brought our own. I'm glad we did because whatever they were burning before left thousands of huge, old rusty nails in the firepit. Not very esthetically pleasing.

We paid $140 a night for a shed... literally, its a shed with a bed and bathroom! The pictures look deceiving. The space was beyond small. There was no where's to eat a meal. We had to eat our meal in bed and one person had to climb over the other to get into the bed because it was lodged between a half wall. The fridge was tiny (half the size of a dorm fridge). The bathroom was tiny too and when you sat on the toilet, it moved. It was nowhere mentioned in the listing that our shed (definitely not a cottage, as described) was attached to another bigger shed/cottage. A shed duplex! There was just a wall between us and the other occupants. So what was supposed to be a private retreat, wasn't very quiet or private all all. If you rent this place, please note... This is not a private area. There are cottages all around you, the owners are feet from you and you will be attached to another larger cottage, which is not mentioned in the listing. Also, there is no where to prepare, cook or eat a meal.
