Price. Close to Jersey City. Dishes , dishwasher, pots pans, full size fridge, microwave. Beds and pillows very comfortable.

No breakfast and not too many eateries within walking distance.

Didn't get an immediate confirmation, so I booked a room at another motel. Consequently, I lost the price of a room at Candlewood. In the future, I will try to avoid booking.com.

Great Stay during our New York Trip. We had some trouble with our flight and missed one night. But the staff was very kind and helpful to find a good solution

It was a bit difficult to get to New York City without a car. We used the bus, but sometimes it does not fit

First off, I rarely leave bad reviews. Microwave did not work; reported the first day of check in and staff said they placed a trouble call for the microwave to be looked at the next morning. Second day we were out all day and came back to the microwave still not working. Notified different staff member and they said the next day it would be looked at. Microwave didn't work the entire time and had to use the one off the main lobby everyday! Big inconvenience. The recliner in the room was broken and there was a frame that appeared to be missing or stolen off the wall since it was very noticeable. Mold in the shower. Overall, a crappy suite and no other rooms were supposedly available to move. Staff never followed up.

everything from the friendly staff, clean rooms, great location, the pantry and free washer and dryers.

location a girl was jumped near the hotel and there were police officers in our hotel looking for clues. this hotel is used primarily for workers such as construction.

I liked that it felt like home away from home. They had a pantry with a diverse array of snacks, beverages and microwaveable meals.

There wasn't anything in particular I would say I didn't like; however, I think the price seemed too high at first for the location, room accommodations and time of year. Once you check-in, you will see they give you a laundry room, a gym and other homely comforts which you do not have to pay extra for.

Friendly staff that was eager to please. The public spaces were clean. The mini kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, silverware, dishes and bowls. A microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and a electric stove. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very well maintained.

Would have liked a grab bar in the bathtub/shower. Also an in room safe for valuables was not provided. 😥

The property is spacious with ample parking, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, and dishwasher is the room, spacious closet, reclining chair, comfortable beds, and a work desk. Clean linen, ample towels and good toiletries. 24-hour access to complimentary tea and coffee, and washer/dryer. Very helpful staff who are always willing to support, however busy they are. Easy access to buses. Train junction is slightly far but Uber or Lyft can get us there quickly.

It’s a bit pricey.
