Way too expensive for such a dump of a hotel

Super friendly staff. We left our passport at the facility and they were quick to get it back to us.

The room was comfortable with laundry on premises. About 3 blocks from the beach

Every night we had to get our key re-magnetized. Every night there was a different attendant at the desk. All attendants had the same reply, first "if you place the card to close to credit cards or cell phones it will de-magnetize" Our reply each night was "we did not do that" Their reply each night "it most be your magnetic personality" Which made it more than obvious that they only magnetized your key card one night at a time for security purposes. That made us walk to our room tired after being out all day and then made us walk all the way to the front desk sometimes waiting for the line to clear, being given the same spiel each night, and then having to walk back to our rooms tired and pissed off over what occurred each night. When if they just told us to go to the front desk first.....

Clean, reasonably comfortable and close to Carmel by the Sea.

It's a motel 6, I'm sure we could all complain but for the price I paid, it was fantastic.

No breakfast available, didn’t like anything about this motel.

Staff was very nice and the room clean and comfortable. Close to the beach if you have a car.

they recently updated/ upgraded or are in process much better than the last time we stayed here. all the new rooms have microwave and small refrigerator

location was emergency evacuation due to weather

I got no rest due to a banging sound on the property kept me up all night I called the front desk and the overnight front desk said he would send somebody to fix it and didn't. The room smelled awe full from cleaning or something chemical made my eyes and sinuses burn. The bed squeaked every time I moved. The TV remote was disgusting with some substance in between the buttons and obviously not cleaned. I couldn't leave as I was late at check in because of evacuation due to flooding. When I went to the office to explain what I'd been through and requested a refund the nasty woman at the desk could care less said "I don't see any other complaints" a refused a refund. I would never stay there again. I suggest a property next door or nearby for a few bucks more the investment will be worth it.
