it was infested with ants and they do not offer cribs because of COVID absolutely ridiculous as I have twin baby boys .

cheaper than staying in Monterey
housekeeping bangs on the door at 9am waking us up. good thing because they would of came in on us if we didn’t yell back at them. again 9:30 bang bang then they open the door without a second for us to respond. good thing I had the top security lock on. while they cleaned the room next door they blasted music and talked extremely loud. if checkout is 12 only come to rooms that have been checked out. both times we’ve been there something weird is happening in the parking lot too. first time someone was spray painting a rv. this time a car was being worked on right in the entrance of the lobby.

Breakfast was okay. Had to take it to our room, so not great.
The clerk could not get our keys to work. After a long drive, we had to make 4 trips back downstairs to ask for keys to be recoded, to no avail. He finally locked up and came up to our room to reprogram the lock on the door to get it to work. This was unfortunate for both us and the employee, who was working alone.

Good atmosphere, friendly, very helpful, and accommodating staff.
Breakfast was tasty and had variety.
The location was ideal.
Room size was large and comfortable.
The Keurig Coffee maker in the room worked once and afterwards didn’t work at all. Disappointing.

The room was clean.
The staff during check in and leaving were unorganized and rude. The tv in the room did not work. And the fan function was only intermittent. Not going to recommend to anyone !

The room was very nice and beds very good.
We were there during car week and prices very high everywhere. So not happy about that but not much choice. Made reservations many months ahead. They should move the ice machine to 1st floor instead of third on the other side of our room. Wakes you up in the morning. The breakfast was so so and sweet rolls were not freash.

The beds were comfortable and staff was pleasant. The breakfast options were what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express, i.e. cinnamon rolls, cereals, eggs, etc.
The hotel could facilities were in need up upkeep. The paint and wallpaper in the hallways looked chipped and worn, the spa was broken and labeled as closed for COVID (which is weird since the fitness room was open) and we were trapped in the elevator for 5 minutes one morning. While our room appeared to be clean, my children found someone's food leftovers in the room safe, which was beyond disgusting.

I have stayed at this hotel several times because of its great location and large rooms. Sadly I will not stay again.
If you stay in room 312 which is above the main entrance you will hear the doors open and shut 24/7! The hotel is well aware of this problem but continues to rent the room and leave there guests with sleepless nights.

The front desk team was personal, professional, and friendly. We felt very welcome. The breakfast was better than all hotels I have been too. Jewel should be recognized for her great service
The price was too high if not all amenities were available. I believe that if all were then the price was reasonable. I wish they had offered pancakes like the online photos showed.

I like the bed. You melt into the mattress and that is the best sleep I have had in a long time.
Not having someone come in and at least make the bed. I guess since I was on vacation and paying for the room, I kind of had those expectations that at least they would make the bed.
