Very clean hotel, prompt service and good restaurant if you like fast food

Walking Noise due to creaky floor from above made sleeping very uncomfortable. The manager was helpful to change rooms the following day.

Received a call about an hour before checking in (while I was driving 3.5 hours to the hotel) saying my cc had expired (I had made the reservation months in advance) so if I didn't call back in the next 30 minutes, I wouldn't have a room available. YUCK My room was located on the first floor next to the door leading to the pool. It also leads to the parking lot. The door was repeatedly propped open while I was staying there allowing anyone off the street (or the freeway) to walk into the building. The first night I was there, I came back to the hotel with my daughters to watch the Warriors game. We sat outside where there are 3 fire pits. Our fire pit was low to begin with and eventually the flame went out leaving us with gas smell and cold. My daughter went inside to ask about restarting. The bartender/server/mgr(?) told her, "the propane is out" and walked away. 1/2 hour later she came outside and said it again. Thanks - we know. I would expect staff to get the fire started, again, not shrug and walk away for the second time.

Our room felt like a dungeon- bottom floor low ceilings our one window faced their office back end staffs office desks so they could look directly into our bedroom- terrible! - Literally took 30 minutes to get a drink and there was only one drunk a head id us at the bar as there is only one college student working as the waiter to deliver all the food and the bartender - Our tv connect made the channels unclear and broken audio ever 10 seconds.

Excellent communication with reception staff from the moment we booked the room. Clean and modern room as well as restroom. Dinner and breakfast at Leroy's were superb. We will definitely book here again when visiting SLO.

Our room was right by the vending and ice machine and it is loud whenever someone is getting ice.

Great customer service and check-in experience. All staff members were very helpful and nice to us. The room we stayed at was clean and confortable. I did not expect it, but we had a beautiful view of the mountain! Products offered, such as shampoo and soap, were of great quality. The hotel overall has a great decoration, is very clean and confortable.

We did not try the restaurant inside the hotel. It did not have bad reviews, but was also not the most recommended option. We didn't find many walking distance options of restaurants and cafes around the property, but by car we found great places that were close to it.

I didn’t like the body pillows and would have preferred standard size pillows. I woke up with a very stiff neck.
