I didn't like anything because they canceled my reservation
I made this reservation 4 months beforehand. They confirmed when i made it, and 3 days before I was set to arrive. However, when I arrived they said my reservation was canceled and they called the day before to tell me, but left no message nor sent an email or anything. Then just said sorry and left me scrambling to find something else last minute. Horrible experience

Hidden from the main road and was like mini apartment.

the hostess was nice
it should be closed during renovations!!! I reserved a suite with a bed and a sofa sleeper. there were three of us my husband and mother and I and only one bed!!! the room was half renovated. it was such a disappointment!!! the hostess dragged a mattress from a sofa sleeper to our room. there was no maintenance staff to help her. she said he quit yesterday. My husband slept in that mattress on the floor. I shared the bed with my mother. this was totally unprofessional!!! no breakfast as that area was under renovation. this was the pits!!! I booked this suite months ago. it was graduation weekend…. so not only see all of your rooms booked but there were no other options for us in the area. I was disappointed and so unprepared for this MESS!!! there was no charge but, it was an awful experience for my family. I was embarrassed beyond measure!

The location is good and pretty quiet. The staff I encountered was very friendly. It was a decent stay for the price, and considering they are going through renovations.
I understand they are going through a major renovation, but whoever is doing the work for them could be better about where they leave the debris. In the hallway isn't that great of a place for things like that to be. I also hope they replace the bedframes soon. Mine was a little rocky if you set on the bottom edge.

Very large room with great kitchen. Had two TVs one in the living area and one in the enclosed bedroom. Great location right off the interstate and in the upscale Cary suburb. Yet is was quiet and only a few miles from downtown Raleigh!
They did not change linens/or provide fresh towels even after we asked, but that maybe the nature of a long stay hotel. We had to ask for additional toilet paper at the front desk which the attendant gave us immediately and she was very friendly. Did find one small roach in the bathroom but otherwise the hotel and room were clean.

The staff receiving us was very friendly and helpful.
The carpet in the room was wet, soiled and smelled terrible. The kitchen faucet was not attached to counter and had to be held with one hand in order to turn on. The bathroom sink did not drain and the bathroom smelled either from the terrible smell from the wet carpet or something else in the bathroom. If we had been staying more than the one night and leaving early that morning I would have cancelled and went somewhere else. I definitly will not stay at a Main Stay again.

I traveled with my son. The room had a sofa bed but there were no extra sheets or mattress cover for use. Had to share my comforter and one of the blankets..

it has the potential to be a nice hotel it had some quirks.
No bedding in the room for the sleeper sofa. Had to go to the front desk to get your own bedding. They also ran out of breakfast. Better preparation would help improve their rating.

The hotel seems outdated and unclean... stained carpet, mildew smell in halls, humid inside of the building, no continental breakfast (just grab n go cheap stuff), workout room was very bare.

well let's see the carpet was filthy, my door wouldn't latch at the top, it was clear that people are living in this place on a daily basis, from 2 am until about 5 constant fussing about her girlfriend whom wouldn't let her in her room.

I like kitchen, Danner room, the tub in the bath room was very bad, the living room coach was very bad.it need to be taken care off

Cheap rate. Friendly staff. Easy check in. They were painting the parking lot, so it looks like they were starting to improve the place. Great location near Shiny Diner, and there's an amazing convenience store down the street that has really good Indian food. Free coffee was a nice touch, and I liked how the staff asked if I needed anything. Room 310 had nice recliner.
It smelled terrible in the rooms. Room 309 smells like it had mold that was painted over. I started coughing after a couple days. I was not able to get another room because there was no vacancy. I moved to 310 which smelled like old vegetable oil. Dishwasher was broken. Even after febreeze and incense it smelled so bad I almost gagged. I was really excited to leave. I got an Airbnb called Revisn instead and it's amazing... wish I had gone there first for my business trip. Mainstay should invest in cleaning old mildew and mold for safety, and clean the carpets and walls better.
