Room was small. Air conditioner is next to bed making too much noise. Coffee provided was too small for large pot.

It is nearby my in laws in orange county, that's why I chose it

Room service staff have no standards, sometimes they do good job sometimes they don't do anything, for example coffee is not always replenished, the phone in my room is not working, I cannot contact the front desk or room service, the bedsheets are not being changed, I paid extra money to have the hotel change the bedsheets,

Very clean and spacious hotel room with a bit of an ocean view. The balcony was great. Hot water lasted a long time and never went cold. The full kitchen with dishwasher was nice and convenient. The room looked modern and was designed/decorated well.

The main issue that I had was the bed and pillows. The mattress was really hard (and I prefer more of a firm mattress) and the pillows were too big and propped my head and neck up too high, resulting in bad neck and back pain. I know mattress and pillow preference is subjective, but the bed was really, really hard to me. Maybe having a few different pillows with different thickness levels would have helped. If you can, bring your own pillow. The other things that could be improved upon is having velcro or snaps or something to make the blackout curtains close fully in the middle. They overlapped but still allowed some light to come in, which was distracting to me because I need total darkness to sleep well. And eventually updating the sink faucets and handles to match the rest of the room because they look pretty dated compared to the rest of the room. Also, the sliding door and screen to the balcony were a little rickety and hard to close. Overall it was a great room, these are just my nitpicky thoughts.

we needed a place to sleep after flight cancellations and a rental car drive from San Diego. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the shower excellent, and irt was quiet,

Room needed updating….

Initially refused to let us leave luggage behind front desk on day of checkout. We did not have to leave for airport until 4pm, so wanted to explore. Then agreed to let us leave luggage but only if we paid for additional half day room rate. So basically wanted $80.00 to keep luggage for 4 hours.

The hotel has a good location close to Trestles for surfing and also walking distance to the beach.I totally will come back and recommend! The room has a kitchen super convinient for longer stays.

The size of the room is great for multiple guests. I stay there at least once a year !

there were cockroaches and ants in the room. They offered to give us discount and change rooms but we never received discount.
