We liked the bed and the cleanliness, location (between two lakes (Taylorsville/Guist Creek) 12 miles each, and near Solato Wildlife Sanctuary (My Uncle works there). Yes, we're local: Louisville (her) & Winchester (me). We'll stay there again since we didnt encounter any of the typical drug activity and child molesting perverts we face in Louisville &Lexington hotels. Cheers!

Standoffish staff on check in, pushy on checkout day (poolside); my daughter (7) wouldn't get in the pool until I skimmed all the bugs (millions) out of the pool. The Manager finally came out, making excuses and blaming the pool boy, saidI was "too fat/old to be a pool boy. He took the pool skimmer net from me, as if I were out of line for using it. If he'd made sure the pool were clean I wouldn't have had to...Eh? It was 10am and 3 others sunbathing, waiting for the pool to be cleaned. Breakfast meats were nasty, made me throwup. No TV signal in our room but Manager finally came to our room and fixed it after check in. 7 yr olds need their cartoons, you know...something they can relate to. Overallthe room was super clean, comfy, but the main door was broken, screwed together, as if it'd been kicked in. I work for the Hilton-Engineer 1, have seen much of this abuse to properties. My daughter asked me "why are the staff so rude? Did wedosomething wrong?" We'd been at the lake all day prior to check in so were raggled from the heat. I guess we looked scummy? I felt judged by your staff; they were very short and looking blankly down their noses at us. Weird. Or maybe just dumb?

Bed was extremely hard!. Breakfast was cold no choices same breakfast both mornings. Had to clean our own table! Staff was lazy. Bad experience 😪 & it looks like they are letting the property run down. Not like it use to be.

Clean facilities, good breakfast, very accommodating with late check in, friendly staff, and right off the interstate.

Breakfast was really good lots of choices

The front desk was very efficient and friendly when we arrived. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. It was everything we needed for a quick stay in Shelbyville. We'll stay again!

it was convenient to what we were doing and not too expensive. the free breakfast was good for an included breakfast.

our toilet had issues and when we called down for a plunger no one showed up, so my husband had to go look for one. the air conditioner is loud going on an off, so I finally turned the fan on and that helped with that noise and other noises like slamming doors.
