I booked through what I thought was their sight, as it turns out it was a booking sight from a third party. We came down with COVID three days prior to travel and I tried to call and cancel or to receive a credit for another night in the near future. Saco river motor lodge would not help (it is their room) and told me to call booking.com who in turn told me to call the motor lodge. I did this several times doing this as each time I was referred to another party. The short of it was I was trying to do the right thing with COVID, gave plenty of warning and just needed a break. No one wanted to make a pragmatic decision, common sense is not so common I guess.

The fact common sense is not common, would not give me a fair break, I know rooms are a commodity but I was following NH, COVID guideline and was penalized

Location, pool, staff. The price is so inexpensive and it's clear they really do clean it well. The owner is so nice and accommodating.

The rooms are super dated but makes sense for the price. The pillows were not great, the WiFi didn't work, and there was some extension cords/extenders plugging the TV in

The kids loved the pool and the playground.

The beds were full of broken springs and so uncomfortable that we couldnt sleep, the place was dirty, the fridge didn't keep cold or frozen so all my stuff in the freezer defrosted and melted. Just overall wasn't a good experience.

I have stayed there 4 times now and every time I get absolutely no hot water on checkout morning....I would like a hot shower before the long drive home

We stayed in the little cottages out back. It was very comfortable. The beds were very comfy. Loved the set up and spaciousness of the rooms. Loved the location. The evening staff was WONDERFUL!! Would go back again.

A little run down. Could use some paint and new furniture.
