Nice large rooms and great bathrooms. Breakfast was good and there was a nice wine and cheese in the afternoons. Location was great! I liked the guys who ran the hotel.
I wasn't given the room or rooms of my choice that I made when I made my reservation. I wanted a room with two chairs and had a room with only one chair. Also, there was no assistance with our bags. I'm 74 so that was a hardship for me.

extensive breakfast menu was presented at checkin. Excellent food was delivered to our room at the time chosen. A lovely touch to have breakfast included!

Breakfast, cute, nice gesture. Staff friendly, expensive for 2 nights, a little musty smelling, noisy neighbors-supposed to have quiet at 9pm but it went on by fireplace until midnight i think on 1st night. Chocolate i asked for nice but 35 dollats? Are you kidding? Must you make 300% on every little thing? Didn't think that was ok.

Not able to get coffee until 7:45 am, first breakfast time was 8:30, no staff around until after 8:30 am.

Location was fantastic, staff were very helpful but most notably - the room was magnificent. Really felt like I was in a beach town. The fireplace was a great touch, the bed was fantastic, the heated bathroom floors were so nice. Would definitely stay here again. Top quality hotel!

The location was perfect. Easily walking distance to the beach, Ocean Avenue, etc. I am not a big breakfast person but the included breakfast was perfect (if you are a big breakfast eater, you might need to eat/find your breakfast elsewhere).
I would have loved for the room to either have AC or screens on the windows. I understand the season for needing AC in Carmel is not a very long period of time. However, screens on the windows would be a nice addition to be able to get cool/fresh air without the worry of mosquitos/bugs in the room.

Wine and cheese nightly, breakfast delivered to your room every morning, and walking distance to the restaurants and shops helps make this a great place to stay. The rooms are good size and the bed is very comfortable. The fireplace adds for an extra touch of ambiance.

The breakfast was wonderful and delivered on time. Randall and the staff were amazing! They were on top of anything we asked for immediately. You can’t beat the location! We will be back for sure.
