Bed was comfy, room was spacious (king bedroom came with a large-ish bathroom and a sitting room). The breakfast was ample and the atmosphere in the dining room was festive. The hallways had prints that were very interesting and varied.

The hallway carpeting needs replacement. We observed the carpets on two floors as we changed to a King room on another floor. There are large white spots on it where someone probably used bleach to spotclean it. There is probably a staff shortage because the housekeepers never made it to our room despite being asked and putting out the hang card asking for service and asking the desk to request them to make up our room every day.

Larkspur is becoming our go to for bookings. I wish there was a points or reward program for frequent bookers

I liked the fact it had a kitchenette in the room. They provided one pot and one pan. Do be aware they give you one of each silverware so you’re stuck washing the same ones over and over. There is an old musty smell and there is construction going on next door.

The breakfast was mediocre at best. You’re charged for parking your car at the facilities and they aren’t responsible for your car getting broken into. What’s the point of paying if it’s a free for all? I kept finding others hairs in my towels and pillow. Had to request a different set of towels. There was little hairs everywhere.

1) The room was spacious and well-equipped even if the appliances themselves were somewhat old. 2) It is quite close to the airport and there is a bus stop nearby. 3) Washing machine and dryer were free (although you have to bring or buy your own soap). 4) Staff was, generally speaking, helpful even though they were constrained by the limitations of the hotel.

This hotel is clearly a shell of its former self and it shows. Here are some of the main issues: 1)The breakfast is a joke and served with paper plates and plastic forks. Bagels, eggs, ham, (bad) apples and a few drinks, that's about it. Do not expect variety. 2) In my room, I found the usual "Please clean room" sign and hanged in my door. Was disappointed to return later and see that the room was not cleaned nor the towels exchanged. When I contacted staff, I was told that they do not exchange towels and clean the room for short stays. I wish I had been told this when I checked in. That said, they offered me a clean set of towels. 3) The appliances in the room are old. The fridge, in particular, was quite noisy and had a strange smell. 4) Low water pressure in the shower. 5) There were forks, knifes and plates in the room. I phoned the staff and asked if I could expect them to be clean. Was told that I should clean them "just in case". 6) There is no shuttle to the airport even though the phone in the room still has a "Shuttle" button.
