We flew into Bradley Airport, and the motel is a convenient short drive from the airport. We were visiting family in East Longmeadow, MA, and we could travel there either via the interstate or a scenic back way on state highways if we preferred. Shopping in Enfield was convenient and we could get the few things we needed there. There is a mall and various restaurants and other businesses in Enfield. The rolling hills and woods in the area were very pleasant and quiet. The motel is right on Highway 5, but it is not much-trafficked and the room was quiet. The bathroom has been renovated, and the room was clean and comfortable. No problem with internet access. We stayed for a week, and housekeeping provided us with fresh towels and more shampoo twice during that stay, without our requesting them.

This is an older motel that has been renovated and kept up somewhat. There is an interior stairway with narrow steps and worn carpeting; also exterior stairs and walkway for the second floor, but no elevator that I could see. This would be a problem if you had mobility issues or very heavy luggage, so be sure to request a first floor room if you do. There is a liquor store next to the Inn, but no restaurant; you will need to drive to get food. We were surprised that there was no coffee maker in the room, and no coffee in the lobby. No hair dryer either. We ended up going to Enfield the next day and purchasing both, as we were staying a week and really needed them. We had a no-smoking room, which was fine, but two nights of our seven-night stay, there was a lot of tobacco odor coming from either the room below or an adjacent room. Thankfully, these guests left after only two nights and the problem was gone. There are blackout curtains, but no sheers behind them, so you either have to have total darkness in the room or have the room visible with the curtains open. It would be nice to have an option to have some natural light but also privacy.

Extremely clean, very quiet and staff is absolutely wonderful, feels like your staying with family. Truly a hidden gem seems like living out in the countryside, yet close to ANYTHING one could possibly need. Easy check in admittedly I was scared because I booked on the side I never even heard of before but start to finish absolutely wonderful. It is so clean we enter the property you literally could eat off the driveway.... Best of all you won't have to file for bankruptcy because it's extremely affordable you get way more than what you pay for the sheets are so comfortable mattresses the towels I never had such great towels even in high-end hotels in New York City you can't beat the towels, and no I don't work here and I'm not being paid for review LOL I just feel that credit is due do where credit is due. This is just absolutely wonderful and such a refreshing breath of fresh air in our hard times.

Having to check out leaving new friends and returning to the daily grind, although I NOW have a great getaway.
