the staff there are wonderful. super nice, and very helpful people work here. it’s the best part of this motel. breakfast and coffee from 7-9am was good. (breakfast ends *promptly* at 9)

shower is worn, though it was certainly clean. towels are very thin. parking can be a real challenge on a busy night.

The room was small, although we had 4 people in it.

I was visiting family in Santee and the location was close to them as well as shops and restaurants. The hot tub was as nice amenity. The breakfast was surprisingly good.

The room felt cramped and there was a lot of noise from traffic and people outside. The beds were not queen sized and felt smaller.

I was charged for a no show. I was never told about that

I came back from a party and there was no parking, I asked at the reception and the lady told me to park outside and come out at 8am to move the car, I told her that I am entitled to a space here and she said yes. . but sometimes clients have 2 cars and therefore there is no space and I ended up parking my car in front of the reception, I am disabled and those spaces were occupied and one car did not have a handicap placard

Overall good sized room. It was clean (besides a stain on one of the bed skirts (not the part you sleep on) which is probably the most important aspect to me when staying in a hotel. Great breakfast, decent sized dining area. Parking is tight but it seemed like there was enough, plus there is some overflow if needed. Front desk lady was really nice

Pricey for one night but in comparison to other hotels in the area it was on the lower end. Bed wasnt very comfortable, new matresses would really help.

I liked how the rooms overlook the pool and that parking was close by the rooms.

The ground got super hot around the pool and the pool got shaded super early. When we left for check out at 6:00am the front office door was locked so we couldn’t retrieve a cart to load our luggage. My husband is handicapped and someone else had parked in the handicap assessable parking so I had to take each item (we stayed for 10 days) out of the room one by one and move our car closer to our room which was at the loop of the main office. When a staff member (about a hour into loading my car so I was almost done) finally noticed I was parked in the front of the office and asked me what I was doing and I said checking out. She didn’t ask if I needed anything and at that point I was just frustrated and ready to go home.

RIDICULOUS PRICE GOUGING for a one star hotel in a town out in the boondocks

Nothing! This Best Western is the worst we have ever stayed at. The staff was rude and the cleaning people were lazy. This Best Western is out of date. The tv and remote didn't work half the time. Parking was a joke, if you came back late in the evening good luck finding a place to park. Their cleaning people didn't clean the room completely. When checking out we expressed this to the lady at the desk and she told us that we had to request for our bedding to be changed when the cleaning people came in to clean. Who knows if it was changed from when the last guests checked out. Also our toilet was plugged when we went into our room on the 1st night. We just thought that they had low pressure but no it was clogged. We requested to have it checked out and the maintenance guy came in and confirmed it was clogged and he fixed the issue. Just too many things to complain about. WE WILL NEVER stay at this property AGAIN!!
