How easy it was getting too, the walk ability to downtown… did not have to use our car the entire time!

The overall service and breakfast that was served was absolutely incredible. Everyone was so sweet and informative during our stay, which made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. I would highly recommend this place especially for the convenience that everything is within walking distance. Overall, very pleased with our experience.

Beautiful old building that was converted sympathetically from a church. Friendly and helpful staff. Bedrooms very pretty, comfortable and spotlessly clean. An absolutely delicious breakfast as well.

We were able to walk to the downtown area, which is nice because there is very little parking downtown. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the shower had plenty of water pressure. Every evening there was a social hour with snacks and drinks, which was really nice. Each breakfast include some savory and some sweet, and it was all very good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Our room was not very large and the decor was more for aesthetics than functionality. I guess that is to be expected in a vintage bed and breakfast. For example, bedside tables were interesting-looking antique tables but very small space for devices, glasses, water, etc. Plus finding place to plug in devices was a challenge. The price was steep for the accommodations but I understand that it is the location that was the true value.

It was not a B and B. They had breakfast brought in from another location. Sent the husband of the owner over to act like he was glad you were there. He did not convince anyone. Room was dirty. Carpet stained. Very very disappointing to pay almost $300 per night for such a dilapidated poorly furnished match box sized room.

The breakfast was by far the best thing at the house. They did a really terrific job with it, even though my my spouse didn't always care for it.
The room. It was pathetic. It was too tiny. The bed was a double (a king bed would have filled up the room) There was not enough room for two people to pass in the room. You maybe had 2-3 feet around the bed. Tables were non-existent because the room was too small. Only one bedside outlet.

The location is great. Walking distance to tours/activities and downtown. We were there over the 4th of July and the parade went right in front of the property. Very convenient location.
We have never stayed at a B&B where we didn't have the room serviced/cleaned and that was odd to us. If you wanted clean towels you put the dirty ones outside your door in a basket. Other than that, the room wasn't serviced/cleaned for the six days we were there. Maybe this is "normal" in New England, but we have not experienced it before.

Needless to say that Acadia National park is simply awesome!

The Inn is quaint and appealing but the bathrooms in the room are cramped and need updating. Fellow tourists and inn owner were very nice.
The breakfasts - they try to give you the impression that they are serving gourmet food when it is nothing other than microwaved reheated prepackaged food which tastes like it. It is served to you with a flourish which gives you an air of anticipation which itself is burst with the 1st bite. The Inn is pretentious.

Breakfast was great and specially prepared to accommodate our dietary needs. Location was excellent, just a few minutes walk to town and an easy drive to Acadia NP.
Room was very small. Hard to move around in.

This hotel is perfect! Warm hospitality, a fabulous breakfast, beautifully decorated rooms, and a hint of old-fashioned glamour.
Because I spend a fair amount of time on my computer, a desk would have been helpful, but my lap worked just fine!

Breakfasts were delicious;. Location of the inn is fantastic - close to downtown Bar Harbor and close to the park
A bit more room for the guests to dine - there was a bit of competition for the tables in the morning. Rooms upstairs are warm, but the window unit helped a lot.
