Incredible lovely property. Well appointed, extremely Comfortable rooms, lobby and grounds. Very friendly staff and owner. Nice hot breakfast, beautiful deck overlooking peaceful grounds. Nice pool and hot tub area.

The room was a little too dark near the desk area.

The shower in our room was slow to drain and the cushions of the patio furniture were very thin and not super comfortable.

had a loud obnoxious drunk neighbor. who kept her aggressive reactive dog off leash. who in turn riled up multiple dogs

Best free breakfast I've ever had.

Hard to find something to complain about. Switch to adjustable shower heads maybe?

Lots of reviews said the breakfast was great, and I would agree! It's small-ish buffet, but everything tasted homemade and fresh-- I'd much rather have fewer options, but everything is a higher quality. The pancakes were fluffy and fantastic. Fruit was really nice, and the eggs and sausage were good. Bed was comfortable.

Room darkening shade would be nice. I was on a lower floor and my room looked into the parking lot. I left my shades down during my stay, but I could image, especially in the summer, the room being bright earlier than folks would want.

Booked for a last minute ski day at Stevens Pass. Staff was super helpful in accommodating our late arrival and room was well appointed and very comfortable.

Breakfast offered good choices and adequate seating. One king and one queen bed in our room, which were very comfortable! Nice coffee maker with coffee and add-ons, fireplace and balcony. Very pet friendly!. Free parking.

Food and coffee often were not hot and had to be microwaved. Only one chair in room and no table with chair. No Microwave oven in room and only one downstairs in breakfast room (even Motel 6 has microwave ovens in their rooms), so not convenient for warming up coffee, etc.

The best was fairly comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean.

The noise of people/children above my room (stayed on the 2nd floor, so noise was from 3rd floor) was absolutely unimpressive! 0530 hrs every morning there was children running and stomping, jumping and doors slamming ... ALL. DAY. LONG, our entire stay. It was very disappointing to say the least. Also, breakfast was a big let down. The warm foods that were served (peppers and potatoes, quiche with peppers) smelled horribly, let alone can't have the peppers. The coffee was terrible, horrible aftertaste (have you ever ate dog poo? Me either, but judging by the smell of it, that was the coffee). Im not trying to be petty, but its the little things ... especially when one is paying well over $300 per night!!

We enjoyed the room a lot! It was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace and dining area and meeting other visitors. We walked to and from the village a couple of days - it’s only .8 miles.

First staff member checking us in was unfriendly. Second staff member was super nice. Third and fourth front desk people were less than unfriendly and probably will be the main reason we won’t stay here again. The breakfast the first day was waffles and bacon- amazing. The breakfasts after that were unappealing and sent us into town to find other places to eat. A huge turn off was the breakfast “casserole” that was so wet you could squeeze a cup of water out of. Then there was the microwave fiasco. Our room did not have one. It was supposed to as it was listed in the amenities. We asked at the front desk and was told that they would try to find an extra and call us. Three hours later when we left the hotel, we followed up about the inquiry. We were told “half the rooms have them- yours doesn’t and there aren’t any extras. Sorry.” That interaction is the main reason we won’t be coming back. Their customer service skills should be better honed, especially in a tourist town.

We enjoyed the room and the property. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was good.

Great stay! Great breakfast - delicious food, huge selection and prepared very well! Rooms were so comfortable and clean! Would definitely recommend Blue Elk Inn to others!

Staff helpful but indifferent. Don't look happy.

Variety in the daily breakfast. Hot chocolate and tea being available in the lobby 24 hours a day. The size of the mini fridge and the wireless chargers were a very nice surprise.

The room doors were a bit hard to open, but it is not a big deal.
