Location
While I booked on the bookings.com app and had a confirmation. When we arrived the manager said they were sold out exempt for the suite which he needed $100 more. This was very disappointing. We had no choice so we paid it. The room was not a suite but a little larger. It smelled of smoke and was not too clean. I travel a great deal and this was not worth the $300 price other than we had no options.

Did not like it. Serving room was dirty and little to no choices for food options!
Brighter and cleaner room. More choices for food n beverages. Staff that kept the food and drink hot/warm and freshened up!

Parking lot was full at night. Had to park at Target a quarter mile away. Was told that's just how it is. Would not offer even an apology

Most hotels are extremely loud but this place is very quiet and I can actually sleep! We always have a good time and cone here once a year.
The price is always the hard part.

We came to relax and we couldn’t even use the hot tub because it wasn’t warm and they said it would be 2 hours before it would warm up but then it would be closed/checked out.

I was very happy with everything about this hotel, it absolutely blew my mind how nice the lobby way, how clean and tidy the room was, the jet tub was very cozy and I enjoyed watching TV in it :) I normally check to see how dirty the carpets are by pouring a little water on the floor and using (my own) white towel, to my surprise, no dirt or anything came up! Staff was very friendly and very helpful, my key card stopped working and they replaced it right away! I give this hotel a 100/10 :)))
I have no complaints whatsoever! This was a very nice hotel, especially for the price!

The hot tub.
We just left Grand stay in Stillwater and wanted to voice our concerns. We usually research hotels and read reviews as we did for this trip. Our stay at Grand Stay in Stillwater last night was less than wonderful for a few disappointing reasons. First off we booked through booking.com like we always do. I read reviews and it said pet friendly, we have a small 10lb dog. On our way I had a missed call from the hotel so I called them. I was informed that the king room with sofa we booked was not a pet friendly room and we had to be moved to a standard queen room with two double beds. We where not happy about it but didn’t complain. In my opinion if you have only specific rooms for pets that should be clearly stated. We like king rooms, we do not like standard queen rooms. Second off when we got checked in to the property we had a key card that wouldn’t open our door, our dog was in the room and we couldn’t get in. My husband went to the front desk where the guy ran the key card and told him to keep it away from his cell phone, which it wasn’t with his cell phone and when he came back it still took about me lol 20 swipes for us to get in. Again, we didn’t complain we just made sure we had the other key card with us that worked better. Third, ANTS!! I have a beverage sitting on the counter by the tv and when I went to take a drink it was covered with ants. There where ants crawling all over the tv stand. It was disgusting, I dumped the drink, rinsed the can and wiped the tv stand down killing all the ants. Again, didn’t complain but now I wish I had. Lastly, this morning I went to get breakfast and there was a sign on the door that said “breakfast room closed, see front desk for to go bag”…… I went to the front desk and was given two bags each containing a bottle of water, a yogurt, apple, and a cereal bar. He also handed me a container from Walmart that had 2 muffins left in it. I was honestly beside myself.

The pool and the spa were nice, neither were too hot nor too cold. The bed was comfortable. I usually find hotel blankets to be uncomfortable, but these ones did not feel that way to me. The night staff (the distinction matters in this review) were friendly and were informative when I had questions.
I'm not sure what happened here, but around 10:30 A.M, right as my wife and I were waking up and getting ready to leave, we heard a noise at our door. It sounded like someone was trying to get into our room, mainly because someone was. I had locked the door, but groggily opened it up to find two men standing there. I was asked who I was and how I got into the room. I was taken aback, as I had no idea who these men were, nor did I have any idea why it would be weird for me to still be in the room that I RENTED (especially with plenty of time to check out). I explained that I had rented the room the night prior, and at this point I showed my reservations that were confirmed by the hotel. One of the men asked if he could see my ID. Of course, I'm not giving my ID to a random set of guys that are knocking on my door. Then I was threatened to have the cops called on me. At this point, I'm confused and not very happy about what is going on. I tell the gentlemen that if they have an issue with me they can take it up with the front desk. The other guy, who had been silent this entire time pipes up and says the other guy is the manager at the hotel. Well, that makes more sense in a way, except why didn't he know that I had reserved that room? Why didn't he know the room had been booked? Either way, I got dressed, met them up at the front desk, and by then the manager had miraculously found my reservation and no longer needed my ID. He did apologize a few separate times and made sure to do so again as we checked out, but either way, that's not how I would like to start my day or end a stay. The only reason I bumped it up to a 6 was the night staff and the fact that the manager apologized. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be booking there for a while, if again.

It was clean, close to places I need to be to.
It is not a place I would ever recommend for anyone with any form of handicap. I have had a total hip and two total knees and was not able to use the restroom. The toilet in the restroom was so low you could not possibly get up off of it.. I had to go down to first floor and use the one in hall. Never have I seen such a low toilet. Shame on your hotel for not thinking of something so simple as having a use able toilet.
