Small breakfast and the room looked at the back of the building. At the check in, the woman at the front desk was very unpleasant. She didn't explain why they were charging me more than what I had booked for

Location was great. Close to White House with an easy walk and close to several great restaurants. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Room was clean.

Staff wasn't as professional as I expected, (this coming from a former hotel GM). Only one elevator was working when we checked in. On our checkout day, the 2nd elevator broke down and we had to drag our luggage down the stairs. Luckily we were on the 4th floor. This would have been a nightmare had we been higher up.

The morning staff was so helpful and friendly. The staff woman at the front desk showed us free late check out at 1pm and even held our baggage whole we went to the museum! The hotel was clean and had free hot breakfast with bacon, sausage, eggs, diy waffles etc. I'd definitely stay here again

Room was clean but the bed was too firm for my liking. Hotel does have a heated pool which is nice but the online pic is a bit of a catfish as the pool is super small. Almost like an oversized Jacuzzi 😅 Also we came down on a Saturday night but there wasn't many food options available in the area open after 10 or 11p .

Gym

I was not notified and I would be charged for valet parking $51 a day. I feel misled and cheated. I will not use again. All terms should be explained at check-in and they weren't. also, there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. That was disappointing.

Great location. Quick check in. Very friendly staff. Good atmosphere in lobby, not limited to breakfast hours.

Big shout-out to the manager, Tim. We modified our stay with Booking.com but the hotel didn't get the memo, as they weren't expecting us until the next day. Tim however, got it all sorted, and had us in our awesome room, which was quiet, clean and comfortable, in no time. The hotel is in a brilliant spot- we were able to walk to many of the awesome attractions Washington DC had to offer, and had easy access to the subway that was not in walking distance. The included breakfast was amazing- my boys especially loved the waffles! As we were travelling a bit, having a laundry room was really convenient. We stayed at 15 different places during our 2 month trip, and Hampton Inn Washington DC/Whitehouse helped make Washington DC our favourite place of all.

Nothing- everything about this hotel is awesome

Our room was excellent. Beds were comfortable we slept really well! Location is excellent. We were able to walk to a lot of places we needed to go. Would definitely stay here again.

There was no cucumber water in the dining area/lobby.

Pool was a little small looks bigger in pictures

The location is super for accessing the sights of the city - less than a 10 minute walk to the White House! Room was very comfortable for the four of us (2 adults and 2 small kids). Breakfast selection was great. There is also a pool which we didn't realise when booking and didn't have time to use, but would definitely stay again as this is a rarity in a central hotal.

Aircon unit in the room as a bit noisy, but it didn't keep us awake.

Bedbugs and mites

The location was good. It was just a Block away from my meeting point.

There was no wifi. I am a foreigner and didn't have a phone. Imagine I had to get out and look for wifi just to reach out to my business partners. this was SO POOORRRRR. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for my first time in Washington. WiFi is basic and nobody (not even the receptionist) had the courtesy of inform me when I was checking in.
