So, booking.com should have mentioned the place had three pools: a jacuzzi, a kids pool, and a regular pool, which was awesome and we loved that feature. They also had a playground, skate rink, and 7 miles of beautiful trails. Overall we enjoyed the hotel itself, one problem was pretty much a screwup of our intended visit for a family wedding, but the facilities themselves were above and beyond.

booking.com FAILED to mention that the rooms have cellphone blockers, meaning we could not send or receive texts or calls. And the room phone did not allow for out of town calls, so my entire extended family, who traveled from out of town for a wedding, attempted to contact us and could not. My sis CALLED THE HOTEL and was not allowed to contact us in our room because she called from her cellphone. The hotel mentions in small print in the back of the notebook about the room that they will enable your cellphone and wifi to your room for $5 per day. This is the most inhostpitable pitiful excuse for an upcharge I have heard of. It’s not that you want $5 more: just charge $5 more for the room and don’t block cellphones SO FAMILY CAN GET AHOLD OF EACH OTHER FOR IMPORTANT ONCE IN A LIFETIME EVENTS. The kind we travel for. This was the only issue and it would be very easy to fix by telling people up front on the site about the cellphone blockers. We didn’t know we had to leave the property for calls. We also were never notified about the call from my sister.

Everything!! the pool pavilion with a lake view was awesome, the room was huge clean and very comfortable. BBQ on the deck, washer/dryer dinner table seating for 6 . The grounds were beautiful, the trail system is gigantic and the wild life was second to nun

Fix the televisions. Aspect ratio is all messed up and can't be changed, so you end up with a small, cropped image on a large screen tv.

yhe property was beautiful

The size of our unit was good. The staff offered to push the twins together to make a king and that was exceptional service. Staff was very friendly! Kitchen and bathrooms were clean

The carpet was not stained but very dirty. People who went barefoot had black feet at the end of the day. The kitchen needed just a few more spices. Very skimpy on bathroom and kitchen supplies.

The restaurant was way under staffed and we had issues with getting served. The msnager shoeed up and took care of us. Later in the evening we attended a reunion and the food was terrible.

The property was beautiful. Beautiful area too! The rooms would have been lovely if the ac and tub worked!

AC was broken and they had no others rooms to move us to. It took till our 4th day to fix it(of a 5 day trip). They brought in in room ac units but they didn’t fit the windows so hot air blew in with cold air. It didn’t help being on the top floor so sun beat down on our room so the in room AC units couldn’t compete with the hot days and air. We could not sleep till late in the night due to the excessive heat. So ruined daily plans while there. And to make it worse, our shower would not drain and they had to call a plumber in to fix it. He told us golf coarse tuff had got stuck in the pipes. Crazy! The staff working to fix the problems were nice. We called every day to ask to change rooms but there was none ever available according to the staff. The other hard part was that it was my birthday get away. And it was effected by this horrible experience. I Talked to the manager(offered a comped meal) but no refund or till today no help with this bad experience at all. They have a beautiful resort, but we had an awful experience! I had heard such great things about Worldmark. Sadly I won’t be staying there again!
