Staff was wonderful. The room was very nice and modern with a lovely view of the river eith walking trails. The breakfast was nice and the complimentary shuttle was a big plus for us.
A bit far to walk to the downtown area. Older property, and they are still working on updating it.

The staff was kind. The location was convenient to the train station.
The facility is old. Carpet is dirty. We had difficulty opening our door. We were very concerned about not being able to get back in to get our luggage. It needs an overhaul. It was incredibly expensive

The location was close to train station.
They lost my reservation. Room was very overpriced for the quality. Very run down. Only one of the washing machines was working. Paint peeling. Breakfast was missing butter and non-stick spray for waffles.

I stayed 3 nights and two days but never once did house keeping enter my room and clean it. Also the TV would not turnoff with the remote, I had to unplug the TV to turn it off. I left a message with the front desk about this but it was never addressed during my stay.

Very glad that breakfast was ready before the stipulated 6am. This enables takeaway. The black lady in-charge was very kind and helpful, unlike the surly receptionist. Shuttle driver was very helpful-he helped with my heavy luggage.
Attitude of reception staff was unfriendly. Not helpful at all. Unable to provide solutions to problems - change of management resulted in the ‘disappearance’ of an earlier booking. Only after calling a few times did she offer a room, but a twice the original booking- turned down offer as it was past midnight and I needed to check out by 5:30 am.

The bed was comfortable. The location was very good. The lemon water was nice. The lobby restrooms were clean. It was nice to have available parking.
I requested an early check-in online and it was accepted. I received a message saying that a 1pm check-in could be accommodated. When I arrived the staff could not tell me when my room would be ready. They said that I could check in at 3pm even though I was pre-approved for a 1pm check-in. They said it is only if the room is ready. Duh. That's why I pre-approved it, and then the cleaning staff should work on that room/s first. They argued with me constantly. They never apologized. They never tried to make it right. Guest after guest checked in while my family and I waited until 3:55pm for our rooms that were supposed to be available at 1pm according to the message that you sent to me. I told them if their policy was not to allow early check-ins then they should have sent me a message saying they could not accommodate me instead of a message saying they could accommodate a 1pm check in. They just said "okay", and acted like I was being a complete jerk. I have never been treated so badly as if I was an a jerk and making a scene. I was not making a scene. I was voicing my frustration. Never did they say "hey, housekeeping. could you get these rooms done next please. We made a mistake and said someone could have an early check-in so we need to make it right." No, they just treated me like I was a jerk.
The pool had so much chlorine in it that my children were finding the crystals on the bottom of the pool. That means that the water was so saturated with chemicals it couldn't take any more and it fell to the bottom. My daughter got sick after swimming with an upset stomach and very sore throat. You should have someone taking care of the pool who knows what they are doing.
Also, there were mice running in the hall on the first floor. That is so disgusting and disturbing. For that reason, my family and I could not eat the free breakfast either.
There was no soap in either room.

The staff was super helpful and accomodating when we needed to change rooms after our first night. Breakfast had a good variety and overall the hotel and rooms were clean. We were there for Fur Rondy and it was the PERFECT location - the snow sculptures were in the parking lot across the street, the fireworks were visible from just out our front door, and the carnival and parade were just a short walk up the hill to the downtown area. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting for Fur Rondy!
We stayed on the top floor and it was HOT! It was below freezing outside, but we had to run our air conditioner on full blast for our entire stay in order for the room to be a comfortable temperature. At the other extreme, the pool was freezing cold, but it sounded like they were working to address that.

Room had a plastic bag over the smoke detector and the room smelled like cigarettes. Pathetic that the house keeper didn't notice anything. Went to the pool with the kids and the water was freezing so my kids were very disappointed. The pool was the main reason we stayed there. We were put by one of the exits so we kept getting woke up from people coming in and out. People were also being very loud in the hallway and nothing was ever done about it.
