Very clean room, great location and price

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The tub didn't hold water.

The room was clean and the size was adequate. Car parking was right outside the door to the room.

The man who checked me in was gruff and not at all friendly. The office is in a liquor store which is very odd. The breakfast is a joke -- you have to order breakfast to be delivered to your room in the morning at a specific time, and you can only specify 1 item (coffee cake or danish or muffin) for each person (in addition to beverage and juice). The breakfast arrived late and it was deposited into a "breakfast nook" built into the wall of the room next to the door. The item is just a prepackaged item from Walmart. There was no coffee maker, no cups for microwave, no extra security lock on door, and no freezer in the refrigerator. The heating system did not work well.

This is a nice little motel for the PRICE PAID! It is an older motel, but the owners have put work and care into it. Yes, it is a bit of a "throwback", but if you are looking for inexpensive, no frills and clean, this is a good option. The hotel is located about 2.5 miles outside of State College, in a quiet area composed of student housing, some residences and some industries. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, the towels were much better quality than is the usual case at budget hotels. Neutrogena bath products were also provided, which is also better quality than most budget hotels provide. The room has a small mini fridge and the tv / wifi were acceptable. Upon check-in, you are given a form to choose a few continental breakfast items (coffee/tea, a muffin or coffee cake, juice ...... basic but very nice for a hotel within this price point). You choose your preferred time for the breakfast to be delivered and (this is pretty cool, but shows you the age of the motel) your breakfast items are delivered quietly ...... like a NINJA did it - to a small locked compartment that is accessible thru your hotel room wall! You have to see it to fully understand. There is also a small "bottle shop" at the hotel office that sells beer, soda and snacks. The hotel allowed me to have my dog with me for a small $5 charge, which is one of the primary reasons I booked here. Kelly at the front desk was super sweet and helpful as well. Thanks Nittany Budget Hotel; I hope to return!

The pillows could be a bit better quality. They were a bit flat. There are no USB outlets near the bed or on the counter. The wall-to-wall carpeting in the room was a bit strange.

Close to the venue of relative’s wedding and close to downtown where the stores and restaurants are located. It was quiet and we had plenty of opportunities to explore while being able to find our motel.

If there was a housekeeper, then they did not come to our room once not even to leave more empty garbage bags.

It was clean and comfortable and had a mini fridge.

Would have preferred 2 queen beds in our room instead of full size.

A non-smoking room in between two smoking rooms. Why not put the smoking rooms next to one another?

Conveniently located near Penn State U. Simple clean and safe place to spend the night. Liquor store on premises is a bonus, big selection without any seedy characters hanging around.

Could've maybe used a newer mattress on sleeper sofa. Ours had a lot of mileage on it but the sheets were clean. You get what you pay for but you do get great value for the money spent.

Room 102 parking in my Room101 spot. Toilet bowl wobbly. Breakfast was late on Sunday. Bed had a very soft mattress.
