Tiny awful apartment with an non functional kitchenette. The stovetop is actually a rusty plug in burner. We were very unhappy with our stay and the property would not let us leave with any type of refund.

The location is outstanding. The bed is king size. Refrigerator has a freezer. Nthe hotel is an outstanding value

Had to pay $20 per night parking which was 5 blocks away from room. No shuttle, hauling luggage 5 blocks. Room was outdated. Very loud. Room had cockroaches. In bathroom was wad of wet paper towels/ tissue stuck to the wall. Hair in drain.

As close to oceanfront as you can get without being "oceanfront". Walk out the lobby and cross the street directly on to Hollywood Beach and Broadwalk. Located right next door to Margaritaville Hotel.

No parking at the hotel. Had to park a couple blocks away, However, you can stop and unload in front of hotel first.

It's a quaint little hotel from a bygone era.

I didn't like having a giant garbage can right by my room. I have no idea why they needed that.

The price was great for the location. We loved being right by the beach and boardwalk. We liked the court yard. The side table beside the bed with plug in options for charging. The staff was friendly. Checking in and out was very convenient. We had a few questions with our stay, sowhen we emailed it was nice how quickly we got responses back.

The bed wasn't comfortable. We had kinks in our backs. When you sat down on the bed it felt like it caved backwards. There also should really be an exhaust fan in the bathroom for the steam from the shower because it looks like there is mold or mildew on the wall by the towel rack. Also, the outlet under the wall mirror doesn't work properly. It's spongey and pushes in but the top plug in doesn't work at all.

We have been here multiple times and every time it gets better, the location is great and reception is always great. Myra was extra helpful on our last day and very understanding of our late flight issue- Thanks Myra!

We love staying at the St Maurice, me personally like a firmer bed, but current beds are comfortable, just not my style.

Perfect beach motel!! The location is a minute's walk to the beach. It's also walking distance to all kinds of yummy food, excellent dining options, and coffee. We decided ahead of time to skip renting a car to avoid parking issues (we ubered from the airport).... and this was the right move!! We were able to indulge ourselves with wonderful meals and treats. Our room was clean and comfy, equipped with microwave and fridge. The wifi never failed us. We slept great on the bed. Also worth mentioning is that it's fairly quiet (no loud music etc after 9pm there. If that's too early for you, there's nightlife just around the corner!!). Even though it's not a fancy place, the grounds are lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the patio area outside our room when the weather was not beach friendly. Everyone on the staff is SO NICE. They were clearly committed to hospitality. They provide so many things--beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, sunscreen, umbrellas, etc that you can use while you are there at NO CHARGE. Picking the right place to stay can make such a difference to a vacation. We were only there a few days, and the weather varied like crazy. Staying at the St Maurice we were able to make the most out of every minute, and we had just the BEST time! We had many "Ahh, this is the LIFE!" moments, without paying an exorbitant amount. The St Maurice Inn is a really special place. It's not a luxury hotel but it had everything we needed and wanted. Beyond that, it has a genuine "we want you to take care of you" feeling. Like when you are staying with someone who is a really great host. At this price point I don't see how I could have done better. Definitely will book St Maurice next time.
