Close to where we wanted to go.
Beds were comfortable.
Place is old needs lots of work. Bathroom toilet overflowed and was dirty.

I was not aware of the fact that this hotel is used as a government shelter for section 8. Neighbor in next room was waiting for police to arrive for his sentencing while other residents were selling and or doing drugs. Animals (dogs) were all over the property with the owners on and off leash. Staff was very nosey wanting to know when and if you were checking out. Housekeeping did nothing for cleaning on a daily basis. There was not a pool/jacuzzi as shown in the ad. There also wasn't the included breakfast. When we asked about it we were laughed at and they said we haven't had that here in years. The room had 14 outlets but only 3 worked to charge 4 phones and a laptop. Totally unexceptable. WILL NEVER STAY AT AN ECONO LODGE AGAIN!!!

Breakfast had a good variety of foods available. The room was very clean and comfortable. This is an older building, however, it does look like they are upgrading the decor, which is very nice. The workout room was excellent! The front desk lady was very nice and professional. Would stay again.
Maybe a visit from housekeeping. The hotel appeared to be understaffed. However, everything worked out.

Smell of bleach when I walked in the door. Bleach to me means clean and fresh.
Needs updating. Bathroom sink side was clean but the fixtures were corroded. Bathroom tub side was very clean but again messy caulk old fixtures needs a bit of updating.

Very friendly staff
Set way back off the road, room could have been cleaner. Mattress was horribly stained and looked to be really old, not very comfortable. Soda machine was completely sold out.

The TV service cut in and out constantly for no discernable reason. I have never experienced that with a TV in a hotel room before.

Coffee was good.. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The facility was neat and clean. Good proximity to SUNY Fredonia.
The heating unit in the room was antiquated. It was not consistent with temperature control. It was very loud and interfered with my ability to sleep. Breakfast choices were very limited.

there was no chain on the door to the hallway. there were three doors. one to the very outside you could see the outside through the cracks. door to the connecting room the door handle came off. the bathtub while cleaned to best ability was extremely old and yuck.

People were going in and out of rooms between 3-4 am disrupting sleep, causing disturbance for my family

Some cobwebs in the ceiling corners in the sink area. Even though it’s a non smoking facility, people smoking right outside the doors are compromising the smell in the hallway & stairwells.

Location and lower price than other nearby hotels
Property in general is old and not well kept. Broken glass on entrance/ exit doors. Large accumulations of cigarette butts on sidewalks and ground outside of exit doors. Stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping never entered my room to do even a minimum amount of service.
