Lots of construction & it was a surprise we had to pay for parking

room was comfortable, nice.

Parking @ $40 was exorbitant. Staff didn't tell us about pass for self parking. had to pay $40 to get in and then another to get out. Staff originally refused to reimburse second fee, but after my wife argued, he relented. The whole parking system sucks.

Cindy - Manager… at our check in she was unprofessional and unpleasant. They refused all our requests, answering us with “ this is our policy “ . They didnt even try to help in any way. And during our stay we were charged room outcome 3 times, and when we faced them and asked for answers, all she said was “ it was the system, its automated “. We stayed 2 hours in check out because of this issue and were late on our trip. That made our stay the worst we’ve experienced. Very unpleasant and very unprofessional staff unfortunately.

Everything is newly renovated and it is a convenient spot for any events close to Newport without the Newport per night cost.

The cost of the self parking ($40 per night) is too high, the bathrooms look good and are nicely decorated but the photos on the website are not reflective of the actual bathroom (the website shows a full walk in shower without a tub) and the A/C system does not turn off (the thermostat stated it was 98F in our room throughout our entire stay when the exterior temp didn’t get above 75F).

The manager was friendly, as was the valet.

Parking fees were exorbitant. The room at our tier had zero access to fresh air (windows would not open). When we requested to move rooms, they said we would have to pay extra. What if there was a carbon monoxide alarm failure? That would pose a serious danger to our safety. Bad room design on their part. Walls and floors were also thin; we could hear the neighbors above us opening and closing drawers at 6am which was interrupting our sleep.

The service was outstanding! Brand new rooms I was very happy with the accommodations
