Location was amazing, easy driving distance from everything. The lady that checked us in was nice. Lovely wooden lobby architecture.

The Lake View Inn has a very restricted view of the lake. The property is aging. Paint coming off the concrete floor, a lobby door not usable. Standing water with algae and cigarette butts left in it. Room was short of towels. Front desk ladies were in the back chatting and didn't respond to guests waiting to be assisted (wasn't our group). Breakfast options are rather limited and there was always something that ran out by 8am. (knives, eggs, sausage patties etc) No juice offered of any kind. Only ketchup available is kept in 1 large bottle in the fridge, next to the 1-gallon jug of milk. There's a 40lb size limit to their open pet (dog only) policy. Also, several employees were unprofessional. The front desk gossiped about their excessive private drinking habits only hours before coming into work, all in easy earshot of guests eating breakfast. Pay the extra $8 and go somewhere else. Granbury is small enough that another property is still extremely close to everything in town.

There was a spider web in the corner of the bathroom that was the first thing I saw when I walked in.

Clean, 1st floor. Lexie at front desk assisted with cancelling duplicate reservation.

Smelled horribly like smoke! Towels small and poor quality. Breakfast poor-had to eat out.

I'm on a walker and there was room for me to get into the room. A/C worked great. We were pleased with the room. Very nice staff .

When we got there the tv remote wasn't working and the tv had a blue screen. One call to the office and the young lady came and fixed in minutes. The pillows could have been softer.

Location, Ease of access to room

Main problem was with the bathroom, toilet was nasty and had urine spots on seat. Lower area of wall was covered in mold. Stunk of mold and wetness and was continually filled with gnats.
