The apartment is in need of an update. The was no electric kettle and the toaster had a broken plug so not usable. The washing machine and the microwave are not very good.

Nice apartment, friendly owners, helpful in case of any questions, provide a lot of useful info sbout the surroundings. Google translator helps to overcome the language barrier if you don't speak Spanish. Very nice view from the balcony, we enjoyed our evninings there - but the lamp was burnt out and needs to be replaced :) Gas is used to make the hot water. If there is no more gas in the gas bottle you need to buy a new one in any gas station and you will get it reimbursed from the owners. The nearest one is just a 4 minutes drive away. Very calm and safe area, very nice long beach with many good restourants and cafes. You need approx. 5 minutes to walk to get to the beach. Salobreña is a very good choice to stay! Nice people everywhere!

In the description of the apartment you see some photos with a pool. In fact, it is closed until mid of June, which is a bit unexpected for the south of Spain. If you put such photos you also have to inform that the pool is not available during some summer weeks. Another disadvantage are the locks of the commonly used gates and doors. Even if you use the right key out of 5 different in the set, even if you are an adult man, in the first days you are going to spend a minute to open each of them. The locks work really very bad. If you want to send your kids to the apartment and stay youself further on the beach, you better forget it! Some oil (or new locks) are needed!

Everything was excellent

Private enclosed gardens. Safe + easy parking. Large sunny balcony.Tennis courts + paddle courts. Mountain views. Large screen t.v. + DVD player. Large ensuite bedroom very nice & warm (south facing).

Problems with locks, keys, difficult access. Distance from town. Flat very cold on arrival (December) + we had to share 2 heater control devices between 3 bedrooms. Kitchen equipment poor/dirty. Swimming pool not available.....til mid-June! More bedding needed - allocation of one blanket per bed inadequate for a winter let.
