Location was close to many things to do.

TV didn’t work, too many mosquitoes and spiders in bathroom. Pool did not look clean.

Lage zum Grand Canyon ist gut. Eigentlich eine gute Idee mit übernachten in Bahnwagen.

Staubige Inneneinrichtung (z.b. Nachttische) Viele Ameisen im Bad. Der Bahnwagen ist sehr. Die Armaturen im Bad sind so alt, dass man Angst hat diese aus der Wand zureissen. Das WLAN ist scho schlecht, dass ich mit einer 2G Verbindung sogar besseres Internet hatte. Es hat zwar Waschmaschinen und Trockner, aber die helfte ist kaputt, der Münzenwechsler funktioniert auch nicht.

Pool

Raum nur 10 statt 23 qm.Anlage ziemlich runtergekommen. Wlan katastrophal.

We stayed in the Rail Car. It was super cute with lots of railway specific decor. Close to town and the Grand Canyon which was our reason for the trip. Very friendly staff and made for an experience with the unique items they have. It was quiet. Parking right in front of the rail car. Good value for the cost.

Lighting was limited/dimmer than would have liked. There was a tube of toothpaste left in the bathroom and there were some nerds candy on the floor in one area.

Cute place

Absolutely no heat! The unit on the wall doesn’t work. It snowed the night we stayed & we were miserably cold. We came in late and didn’t have a way to notify the front desk as they were closed. I requested the railroad car when I made the reservation but was put in one of the rock houses upon arrival with no explanation in the envelope in the late check in box.

Le personnel est gentil

Le lieu est enneigé (depuis plusieurs jours) glissant boueux. L'accès n'est pas dégagé du coup Pas de place pour garer le véhicule. Le railcar est froid il est sale. Taches miettes sur la moquette et la literie . L'équipement est vieux. Le canapé lit est dégoûtant. Ca ne sent pas bon et il n'y a pas d'eau chaude pour se doucher. On a dormi en couvrant les enfants avec les serviettes de douche en plus des vêtements et des fines couvertures. La glace est dans le railcar aux fenêtres. Le laundry est sale les machines sont sales et je ne parle même pas des sanitaires attenants.... vraiment on voulait une nuit insolite mais nous n'avons pas fait le bon choix pour le lieu. J'avais lu des avis négatifs mais vraiment je ne pensais pas que ça pouvait être tant vrai. Je suis désolée de n'avoir en conseil pour les autres voyageurs que de leur dire de fuir ce lieu!

Great service and good value

We love the nostalgic feel and it’s always clean.

They need to be better prepared especially knowing snow is coming. We had NO help from the motel people at all except to borrow a few shovels. The snow plow truck was not working well so we had no option but to shovel ourselves out for almost 2 hours. The management didn’t come out and check or talk to us until at least an hour after we began. We will definitely continue to stay here because we love it but may second think doing so during winter :(
