Loved the location and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and large. The view from the porch was beautiful. The little store had really cute table runners and placemats for sale, that I had to buy! But also a lot of other things, like food, snacks, beverages and souvenirs.

The only thing I disliked was the Walls were very thin, you can hear your neighbors snor.

The location is beautiful.

They don't serve breakfast anymore. There's only a coffee machine in the room. The office closes at 7pm. It's not said in the advertisement of the hotel. If the guest arrives later than that I don't know what is going to happen. The hotel makes the guest sign that he won't let dirty dishes in the room. They give you a rag and a make up towel, so you don't dirt the white towels. I considered it offensive. I myself never did things like those in hotels. Not necessary to sign that you had read these rules. They charged me 5 dollars extra. They said it was because they had to pay a percentage to booking.com

Friendliness of the stuff; location near the river & hiking trails in Dubois badlands. Close to town. Room had everything I needed and was comfortable.

Check-in took a very long time, with a single person at reception and everyone (mostly caravans) waiting in-line for check-in time (the room was not ready when I arrived ~1hr before). Room lacked privacy with windows to the front and back (including bathroom) a little too exposed for my liking.

This place was a touch of heaven. Beautiful setting, friendly staff and clean comfortable room.

The only thing I did not like was that I could not stay longer.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was conveniently just outside our room. We stayed twice at this motel, one week apart and both stays were excellent.

No breakfast, but the Cowboy restaurant was only a short 2 mile drive.

The property is beautiful & I was glad it was a bit out of twin. Quiet & peaceful. I slept like a dead person.

I am a medical professional traveler, and it is the best place I’ve ever stayed in! It was very clean comfortable and inviting. You literally had everything you could possibly need there at your fingertips. I will definitely stay there again!

Our room was very clean and well stocked. It was quiet and parking was right in front of our room. The view was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. Well stocked hospitality area where we checked in.

check in staff was very accommodating, and very helpful on Friday eve.

Check out time flexibility, As a hunter its sometimes difficult to get back to town to checkout at 11:00 am, we got back at 11;30 and were charged another night. The front counter lady had the attitude of "tough luck buddy" Would have understood there policy a bit more if it would have been sold out. When we left at 1:00 am parking lot was 75% empty. Would have gladly paid partial for late check out penalty but thought a full price charge was a bit much for a half hr.

So beautiful and peaceful! They’ve done a great job with it.
