The facility and location are fantastic. A classic, small inn on the coast with beautiful views, large grounds, access to the harbor area and rocky coast with sunrise and sunset views. A short drive to Boothbay Harbor.

Breakfast was OK. Not a lot of choice, but fresh and plentiful. Would have liked to have had an oatmeal option or other choices of morning cereal. Third and fourth morning, the inn ran out of milk, yogurt and coffee creamers. Apparently the supply delivery was late or delayed.

The location was so picturesque. A little difficult to find a west facing property on the Maine coast. Newagen Seaside Inn had a sign directing you to the best spot. The restaurant menu had a small but varied collection and wine list was good. We enjoyed our 2 nights there extensively and our days exploring the Boothbay and Southport area of Maine.

Bathrooms were tiny in the main hotel.

Outstanding location!

The inn is beautiful inside and out. So appealing with the natural fireplace and nautical decor in our room. The staff was extremely friendly and so eager to help in any way possible! The breakfast was excellent! Nice choices of entrees, delicious food, with beautiful presentation. Goblets juices and real linen, no paper napkins or paper table clothes. Real silverware instead of plastic. Very sophisticated for an included breakfast.

I thought everything was excellent! If I were to make a suggestion, it would be that breakfast would be served until a somewhat later time so that one could sleep in a little longer since the rooms are so comfy.

The Newagen Seaside Inn is a very special place, exceptionally friendly and with outstanding staff from all over the world. In the evening we had a superb meal at their very atmospheric pub, chatting with locals, including a lobster fisherman and enjoying live music; it was a fascinating experience. It has an incredible location, a little off the beaten track, in this location you are at one with pure beauty. What a find, our stay was too short and we didn't want to leave. Given the opportunity we would love to return.

My daughter left a brand new sweatshirt, bought in the previous town we visited. I called to say exactly where she had left it, and could we arrange for them to post it to us, I would pay the required amount for its return, however we never heard back.

Location, Location, Location! Dinning Room

No elevator. For folks with mobility impairments it’s a bit of a nightmare

Beautiful property with amazing views and flower garden. Charming room tastefully decorated and comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Dinner at pub was excellent!

This stay was just what my family needed. We loved the pool and the grounds! The staff were so welcoming and Emily at the front desk went above and beyond with being helpful.

The food at the restaurant wasn’t vegan friendly and my daughter got sick. I think the cauliflower was cooked in butter despite being marked vegan.

The staff was very helpful in trying to make our stay awesome and comfortable because as per your website you mentioned when we made the reservations, it was wooden floors and parquetry instead I received a room with carpet flooring and Im allergic to carpeting, cannot breath well.. So they could only offer us a cottage for one night only and then we had to stay in a room with carpeting, needed to leave the air conditioner on with the windows open to remove the stuffiness of carpet ….. also we did not receive any cleaning services due to the cleaners they use and it could of been worse.

Please specify that there are rooms with carpet and no carpet and when booking for a room with wooden floors it MUST be wooden floors. Ive been now coughing for the past 5 days non stop

the hotel was a bit tired, but it was the cheapest option during the high season. the hallways were warm (heated pool?), but the room’s a/c worked well. the staff was friendly. breakfast was basic but adequate.

Loved the quiet. Away from bustling Boothbay. The beauty. Tavern dining unpretentious. The pool.

My food was a bit undercooked. Bothe the mussels and grilled shrimp. Looked done, but could have used a minute or 2 more. I should hAve asked if mussels were PEI which I prefer. I just ordered wrong.

Breakfast was ok but not exceptional. The room was pleasant with the stunning view of the ocean.

Warm whipped scrambled eggs both of our mornings were only palatable. Bread, English muffins and cookies were ok, but some fresh baked muffins would have been a welcome treat.
