Super nice staff

I liked everything

Love our rooms, all 3 rooms went out to our own balcony! With the best view of the beautiful river. Home cooked breakfast was delicious! Staff made our stay feel at home. Looking forward to coming back 💜

Breakfast only from 8.30-9.30. House needs to be renovated...

Excellent hosts. The owner and son go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Particularly at breakfast (which was freshly cooked and very nice) they are a great source of information about events in town. The hotel was very flexible about changing our dates (after I stupidly booked the wrong month…), which was outside of their policies and much appreciated. The building and our room were very comfortable, clean and well positioned to explore the river walk and mission trail.

It would be good to have a kettle in room - also, the air conditioning unit in the Alamo Suite is quite loud.

The staff is awesome; the location, amazing. Its the perfect home-away-from-home

absolutely nothing

Great location. Greeted by staff Owner.

We got to visit with Roland, the owner, who showed us the cabin which is a separate building from the main house where we stayed. The cabin was magnificent and Roland is a delight. seek him out when you visit. The staff are very responsive.

The main house, where our room was, is aged which is part of its charm, but our room, it’s bone-hard bed and the flood lights outside our windows made for an uncomfortable and sleepless night.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was great every day.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The property is old, and not everything has been refurbished, but it is comfortable and clean, and so we highly recommend staying here.

It is charming and quaint. An old Victorian home with lots of character right on the Riverwalk, with a view from our room of the riverwalk and downtown. Excellent and preferable option to the sleek tourist/business hotels downtown. Lovely host, and very nice other guests.

It's a bit long in the tooth, but that really didn't effect our comfort, except for perhaps the mattress and pillows.

Location and quaintness

There was nothing we did not like about our stay at the Inn . Have told all our friends and family about this establishment and looking foward to revisiting when we go back to San Antonio. 5 stars across the board

The Inn was filled with character and charm and very clean . The staff ,Margaret and Vanessa were more than accommodating and made our stay very pleasant and helpful.the owner Roland was charming and full of fun facts . They are real people persons. Breakfast was always pepared and delicious. Interacting with other guest was also a plus ,sharing ideas of sites to see. After this vacation we would not want to stay in another big hotel or motel ever again.

Everything else. The beds were comfortable and the food was so fresh and delicious. Beautiful location.

A little noisy, the neighbors had a small baby. Thin walls. A little far from the riverwalk for old folks to walk.

Loved the owner and staff treated us well and very friendly!

Place needs a little TLC

Very friendly and helpful. I felt very at home and relaxed which i really needed. Breakfast was delicious! The area very convenient with lovely views.

It was so close to the Riverwalk. The staff and owner were fantastic. The breakfast was good. I would recommend staying here when you visit San Antonio.

Breakfast was fabulous! Staff was SO courteous and accommodating!
